Got up, worked a bit then had to run to Home Depot, back home now and working away for the day. Later this afternoon I have some house stuff to do then likely just watch  tonight. |

The nice big dump of snow we got Tuesday is almost totally gone. We are supposed to start warming up but then again, this is Finland and it is Spring. One never knows. It hit some areas pretty hard, but not bad in our area. The Husband didn't even have to pick up a snow shovel. BUT, to get an idea, our English language news page has some great photos and video clips from Turku (former capitol, main city about an hour south west of us) and Helsinki. Tampere - the big city about an hour to the east didn't get much. It is a bit rare to get this much snow this late. Our strawberry crops might be hurt as they should be harvesting around mid-June.
