This year the theme is Pirates, Pundits and Political Party Animals. So there are a lot of ways to go. At least one friend will have a float in the big parade, so I may just help with that and I'll wind up costumed as whatever they need on the float.

On a side note, I used to enjoy wearing a black suit with the black shirt and while collar of a priest for Fantasy Fest, and I'd hear the confessions of hot young girls who wanted badly to do penance for their real or imagined transgressions. I'd have a little rate card from the Church of St. Andrew of the Cross and it would list different rates for hearing confession, per sin, and then rates for assigning just some penance, assigning effective penance, and personally administering really effective penance. Some very good Halloween memories, but I can't enjoy it the same way anymore, not since the Catholic Church turned it into a damn pedophile costume.

And on a very side note, I think a great invention would be a kind of "mood collar" for priests. It would stay white as long as he was thinking suitably holy thoughts, but would turn colors from light pink to bright red when he was thinking of buggering some altar boy.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I find it strange but I haven't dressed up in years.

no kids yet, but seems like it would be more fun if I did have kids.

I have enough crap in my closets to put together all kinds of costumes, just not a big party animal I guess.

however, this 31st I'll actually be at a wedding. so i'll be going out the weekends and days prior to places dressed up to make sure I get in my quota of neck biting.

It's an easy costume though.

White hooded sweatshirt
White pants (I prefer white long johns)
Piece of white poster board
Cotton balls
String
Glue

Glue a bunch of cotton balls to the hood of the white sweatshirt or use some form of white hat.
Put on the white pants and the sweatshirt.
Tie a the string around your waste and allow one end to dangle down to your feet.
Cut two arm holes in the poster board. Warp it around you and close it up with some tape or staples.

If anyone asks, because some people won't get it at first, just tell them you have a card board applicator, a cotton top and then hold up the string. They will suddenly get a big smile and women laugh much harder then men.
