Dear Mission Dollars
You seemed to have a decent enough stable of sites including one that I wanted to promote, so I signed up as an affiliate.

But then last year I decided I was receiving too many "New Hosted Galleries" emails from you and others, so I tried to unsubscribe. I ticked your box saying "Do not send any mailings to me."

But that didn't work. I kept getting spam. So I sent you an email politely asking you to unsubscribe me. No reply. I sent another. And then another. I think I've sent about 10 emails to you so far.

The last one was an angry email telling you to fuck off and to please remove my details from your system as I didn't want to be an affiliate with a company that obviously didn't reply to emails. I hadn't made a single sale so I didn't need to worry about receiving any money owed.

No deal. I'm still an affiliate and I'm still receiving your spam. I got another one today.

So I thought, maybe if I go on the boards and tell everyone how much of a crap sponsor you are I'll finally get removed from your mailing and affiliate list.

I've got quite a few spammers like that. Not necessarily adult sponsors, but they just won't go away. I finally just gave up, installed spampal, added em to the blacklist and send em straight to the trash.

I have all of my email comming into my gmail account. Works great and cuts down on a lot of spam! Plus if you dont like something you can mark it as spam and if you get anymore it will automatically go to the spam folder.

Yes Fonz, I'm am completely sick of "new galleries" emails that turn up every week. They clog up my inbox and never get read. If I want new galleries I'll go and get them when I'm ready.

...and to their program owner's email address if you have it or can find it, and any other emails listed on their website. In Eudora I can set a filter to catch the email and send it back (or to anyone) with a changed subject line saying anything I put in the filter. If they're alive they eventually get the message.

I might just have to take that up. Especially considering it's been three days and no-one from Mission Bucks has replied to this thread.

So... if you're thinking of using this sponsor, consider their customer support skills and go elsewhere.

LMAO, now that is really funny, first they put their affiliates on their spam email lists and spam the fuck out of them, then they block any affiliates email to them as spam

You need to fix your NATS program. I've already ticked the "don't send me emails" box. Make that work and you will have solved my problem.
