How Different Is Bing To Google?
Okay you SEO gurus and people in the know, it seems Bing has proven to be a much more decent place to search. It's less cluttered with unnecessary shit and I think one gets a quality search. No need to wade through tons of chaff.
I am slowly getting used to having Bing as my search tool. So besides my experience with Bing, what do you think makes Bing better than Google, and vice versa? Under an SEO and/or webmaster's point of view? |

Google still controls the lion's share of the search traffic, therefore Google is better. Bing is just pretty.

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Bing is sending me twice as many first time visitors, and has a higher conversion rate of new visitors to new members, so from a technical standpoint, I can see that Bing is in fact doing something 'right'.
From a pure volume standpoint, well, it's finally doing better than Yahoo. Visitors from search engines in the last month: Google: 31,799 Bing: 992 Yahoo: 891 If they didn't exist I'd barely notice. |

Quite true. Some people prefer bing over google, but Google is still dominant in search engine till now.

If there is nobody out there, that's a lot of real estate going to waste!

Being #1 in the SERPs on Google is now almost on page 2 though because of all the chaff that takes up the first page.
