Exploring new niches to market

Okay so more than ever it is time to explore those hard to figure out micro niches out there, and they really are endless. Of course not all of them lead to tons of traffic, but the traffic is always golden, and exploring enough of them is definitely good.

In my years of adult I wish I had kept a list of all the odd fetishes out there. I was just talking about the girls with short hair fetish.

Girls with a cute face and short hair cuts are a really hot niche. I recall yahoo groups years ago of surfers collecting and searching out cute girls with short hair cuts.

I think it has to do with men who like very confident women, because (from female pov here) chicks who cut their hair short and love it have a different air about them. I had short hair once, and was amazed at the reaction from different guys. There are guys who absolutely love the fresh cut hair thing, and girls with short hair who get their 'do touched up often.

I have yet to see anyone do say a blog featuring solo girl sites with short hair. There is my freebie advice, take it and run.

I think its true for most anything...from simple things like what to wear to weight loss to buying porn or anything. I really don't think there is going to be much money left in mainstream porn anymore, due to the fact of file sharing and sites that give it away for free and amateur sites like yuvutu.com etc. There is so much of it out there for free and it starts to get boring after a while, same thing just different girl

Whereas in the niche market you tend to get more loyalty and people wont squander their niche by giving it away for free and are quite protective of it and the communities around it tend to be quite close. They don't want their niche to end up dead in the water because the producers aren't making money due to file sharing plus they like been part of something that is unique and is their "thing"

Yeah being female and not really into "snizz" personally it is super boring to keep pushing things like boobs and blowjobs.

I've always had to find things a little more odd just to keep it interesting for me. Back in the day all this did was make it more difficult due to the way niche sites would disappear so often. If they had all stayed active and paid me, I'd probably be making like 10x more money than I do now. But it always made things tough. Not to mention niches sites were usually terrible in the members area too.

In today's industry, there are so many options to send traffic to pretty solid programs, it is much easier to be creative.

There was a website out there called "Deviant Desires" and she had this mapping of the how all the different 'fetishes' and the derivatives they had ..down to micro niches. It was a great source of information. But after reading this tread, I went to look for it and found the domain up for sale.
Too bad really, it had great explanations of the "main" fetishes then the offshoots thereof.

I disagree. Sure, there are people like you're talking about but I've found many niche fans to be some of the absolute WORST at feeling entitled to everything for free, totally dehumanizing the people in the porn they like, and sharing it all amongst their community of fetishists in very organized ways and actually being extremely resentful of anyone reminding them they wouldn't have that porn to look at if no one paid for it to be made.

Trixie, I'm not familiar with all the niches, only the ones I'm into, so I'm not sure what the deal is with other niche fans. But from what I've seen the people are more loyal and close knit, especially because their niche makes them that way, i.e. no-one outside their niche understands or even *ahem*ahem* accepts their fetish.
