I guess gun owners should be responsible owners so they don't hurt innocent people, right?

Well, there's a reason why it's non-existent in Switzerland...everyone is too busy shooting holes in the cheese.

This was actually written to provide us as the "People" the ability to bear arms and overthrow our government if we felt they were fucking things up. Think about the simple parts of the documents and it all makes sense. Both parties have just tried to fit the pieces to make their politics easier to swallow for the rest of us. We do have some fundamental rights that will never be taken away and if they are, we have the right to take the government back over.

WOW

This is the same way I feel though, there are some things I am conservative about, and others I am liberal about. There is no one party that has all the right answers, if there were it would probably be libertarian because it is for less government.

The truth is somewhere in the middle- I'm guessing.

But, that doesn't matter.

It is what you believe.

I'd be in favor of mandatory safety classes- but many people get all upset about that.

Nobody can protect stupid people from themselves.

Very true - you can not account for stupidity - many folk are just as dangerous and deadly behind the wheel of a car.
