What happen to these kind of threads?

well I hope Greenie is getting some good rest!

I'm doing updates on my Teen Forum!

Also did and submitted a picture gallery!

I was just looking at the past thread of the day threads and realised not only how few there were, but on the days that someone actually bothered to start one, it was most often me - and I am the least chatty person I know.

Occasionally I look at the "who is online" bit at the bottom of the board pages and often I see names I don't know, people who have registered but cannot be arsed to ever post. Worse still, the majority are just "guests", people too lazy to even register, let alone post anything!

In other words, the problem is that most people here are just lazy lurkers, leaching off the board. They are happy to pick up any tips they can from the business boards, and keen to live vicariously through the few people who do actually post on the chat board. But actually contribute? Actually get of their useless lazy asses and post something? No way!

The saddest thing is that G mostly keeps this board running now it is a solo board (and to be honest he did most of the work when there were two of them) and a lot of us benefited from his work. But when he is ill, how many come to his aid? How many help keep his board going?

And it is not just the bone idle lurkers who are to blame. Sure they are just leaching, but then they always leached. No point in expecting a bottom feeder to rise up the tank when needed, scum always remains in the depths (to mix my metaphors). Take a look at the board a few months ago, see how many people there were then. Look at G's first explanation thread, see how many posted a "sorry the hear that" message. But how many are still here posting? And how many bothered to start a "thread of the day" thread? Or start any other thread? Nahh, most just sit on their fat backsides and wait for G to get better and start the threads for them.

Lazy, useless, fair weather "friends".

The original idea of this thread was for webmasters to post what they are doing today. So getting back to the original point of the thread:

Today I am mostly ranting angrily at an uncaring web board.

I mostly agree..

Plus everyone is on the social networks....

Or I guess many ppl quit...

Today I need to update my WP sites.

Since I Installed the wordfence plugin, i get notifications of ppl bots trying to login, plugins out of date, themes also...

Ah well at least its sunny and hot here.

Final first note: hope Greenie is feeling better.

Hmm well for me I've been in NH the last month helping my moms. Now that I'm back home I've been mostly working on mainstream stuff. I always thought to myself if my adult income dropped below $5k/month I would look for something else, and that has happened.

My adult income dropped to well below "worth bothering about" years ago (I make money on porn eBooks, but selling porn memberships and AEBN movies only just covers hosting cost). However, long time back I started pushing my non-adult products on my free adult sites, that works for me. The way I see it, no one is going to pay $39.99 membership to an adult site when they can get all the porn they want for free on tube sites. But tube sites don't give away spell books, sci-fi eBooks, UFO "truths", self help eBooks, etc.. You would be surprised how often a surfer will stop jacking off over his keyboard long enough to buy a book of spells to help him magic up money, for example.

I've been trying to mix porn with gambling and forex.

Still revamping some of my gambling URLs.

Need to tune the sponsors that in using.

Then I need to test and find a way to introduce the glambing... Lol

Then it will be tons of millions of dollars....

Working hard on climbing out of a black cloud of depression. I have not worked for 3 months, just sat on my arse in a dwaal doing nothing constructive. I started moving my sites over to A1 web solutions cos I am sick and tired of being hacked at my current go daddy white label.

Hopefully I can pull myself together and get a bit of enthusiasm for the naked flesh peddling.

I've been a bit lazy on these and the board lately due to some frustrations with work in general.

As for work, I did some updating to erotic tan lines as well as bushy or hairy by adding in more promo pages for a couple of avs sites I own into them.

Added in a few hundred pages under Quality Thumbnails for the network of sites to pull from and will update Erotic To Naughty after reading the board.

Spent time cleaning out ETN and have reset it to do an auto update daily with a random pull from the database. Should save me time from doing a big update to every time I add my own stuff I approve those I know and delete the others. Those I know feel free to submit stuff without recip.

Did a couple of member area updates and added some more pages to my big boobs hub.

Added a bondage books review page to JW Throat's website Genuine Bondage.

It is a slight cheat, because JW says "to keep things fair, I'm not writing these reviews myself. I'm asking the guy who does the web design on this site" because most of the reviews are of his books. However "the guy who does the web design" is me, and I am also his publisher, and I get a cut of every book sold, so I am NOT unbiased! In fact I am just as biased as JW would have been, possibly more so, as I have less conscience!

Also, I get to refer to myself in the third person ("the publisher thinks..." rather than "I think...") which is a little pretentious and feels a bit weird. But I gotta hide my bias if I am going to get people to buy his bloody books!
