Morning.

I've been creating a client's digital download page and losing my mind. Every time I created a page it went 404! Turns out that it wasn't seemed. It wasn't my competency but a bug going back a couple of versions of Joomla. I found a work around and now it works!

So, I heard in his wisdom is going to issue an revenge executive order that may impact social media sites and liability of user created content. This may have an impact on porn tubes and pirated uploads. There will certainly be a lot of talk about it. We'll see.

It got me to thinking. Why can every law be overridden by an executive order? Early Americans railed against the monarchy and instituted three supposedly equal levels of government but the country now has an empire and emperor. Sad.

Meeting, meeting, meeting and then finishing up the website I was talking about.

Hi!

Most of the day went to making updates and now I'm going to work on music. .

Last year I bought this thing, called Maschine.
It's a beast and the learning curve is steep, to put it mildly.
So it's been collecting dust for the most of the winter.
I decided that I cannot defend spending that amount of money on something not being used, so either I'd start learning or I sell.
Now I'm having a lot of fun with it and I still haven't scratched more than the surface.

needs a walk, will be an early evening too.
I need to cancel my HBO, I do not watch anything at the moment.

Also, my new 'employer" has started to show interest in my music/sound-engineering skills.
If I get much more to do there I have to quit something else ...

Good Afternoon/Eve

Got up early and wrapped up in work and immediately jumped outside to that other stuff before my back told to fuck off. Cooled off by having lunch and watching the last episode of Grant which was a 3 part miniseries on History channel. It was very good IMO. Also would have had something different for lunch if I came by here earlier but we are looking into Brisket for dinner and I'll have to put off burgers till tomorrow or vice versa depending on mood later.

Anyhoo back to biz and a nap before tv/netflix.

The idea was to allow the Executive Branch to do somethings that required immediate action, such as declaring war, or a state of emergency, that was within the law and the defined powers but perhaps needed action before Congress could meet. They are always subject to being reviewed by both Judicial and Legislative branches. This guy just plain has a god complex and is swaggering about promising to do things he can't, like order states or churches to reopen or violate the Constitution.

He is going to try to have his own way but it won't work. Twitter upped the ante this morning with actually slapping a warning up on one of his tweets. It does make sense as his followers blindly do whatever he says. If his tweets inciting or glorifying violence are now behind a warning, maybe they will think twice.. nah.. that is asking too much of them. I got my popcorn going on this one.
