Looking for "official" position re: google analytics & similar scripts on freesites

Bjorn, the owner of one of the bigger gaylinklists (a different breed of linklists than the ones we are used to), wanted to know this...

"Is there definitly no way of getting sites listed which use Google Analytics script? Say you dont put it on the warning / first page but only the main and gallery pages?".

I've already explained a bit of the history regarding counters and the expression <script type="text/javascript"> on fresite pages - but it's been a while since it even occured to me to put a counter on any freesite page, and I don't know if the new trusted submitter rules allow it.

So, thats the question on the table - google analytics on freesites - okay now, or bannable?
