hi! newsletters?!?!?!?
SOOOOO...I would like to take a lil poll kinda. I would like to know how webmasters feel about the newsletters they recieve. What type of content do you enjoy seeing? What do you think is useless? What would make you want to to go to the site and check it out? Should newsletters be bi-weekly or monthly? This is for your wonderful and most wanted opinions so speak out!!! And in advance thanks for taking the time to read this and comment.

We're looking to hire a new affiliate manager.
I have no experience. You're hired. I know this board gives advice to new webmasters, but I don't think we've ever done the same with an affiliate manager. Personally, I think they should be done no more than once a week & each should contain actual information - new site released, new promo material, etc. No fluff, no jokes (), no bullshit - just important news about the program. If you have no important news, don't send out the newsletter. And put a link to the program in there - I can't tell you how many newsletters I get that have NO link to the program & then I have to go hunt around for the URL or mis-type the domain. |

Oh, BTW. They transferred me from Customer Service to the AFL Program because of my job background. I rocked it and ran with it in Customer Service, and they needed someone like that in their AFL Program. So yes, I may have no experience, but I can rock it. Give me 2 Months. You shall see |
