TGPx, again
Howdy
When TGPx makes the pages it pulls thumbs with Problem is, i want it to pull https:// In 'general settings' I've set thumb-url to be https:// but TGPx ignores this when pulling and writing the page. Anyone knows how to change this? Jolly |

Been there... {heavy sigh}
Changing that setting only effects new galleries added after the change. It will not change galleries already in the database. |

It'd be a huge pain, but can't you export everything, search & replace the thumb/preview URL, and re-import everything?

But if I was able to export it, wouldn't it be possible to do a "search and replace"? First do a https -> http and then http->https? (First one obviously to avoid a search and replace ending in httpss) Jolly |

Exporting & Importing is VERY easy. How many galleries do you have in there?
The Search & Replace thing - I just looked an in theory this should work: 1 - Back up the database 2 - Go to Search Galleries & on the top right click the Quick Tasks icon (looks like a wrench/tools) 3 - On the top Search and Replace, select Thumbnail URL. Then search for "http://" and replace it with "https://" (include the :// so that you don't change existing "https" to "httpss" 4 - to and do a Build If it worked, then If it didn't, Restore From Backup & go from there |

Holy fuck, it worked like a charm! Thanks Greenie. I'm also a tiny bit embarrassed that I didn't know this function, I thought I knew TGPx by now. again, thx. Jlly |
