Need updated AVS friendly list
I am building some avs sites with purchased content, and need to get some updated info.
If you accept avs sites, please post here and let me know if: Single line recip accepted? Y/N Category recips required? Y/N Any other special requirements? (I know about the backdoor link to the content) Also, if you know of any good list that does not get mentioned in this thread, please post that, too. |

I'll always list AVS sites at CuntMaster's
There's also DangerDave, PerveSpace, MegaPorn, JK's, Jurbi's, Triple X World, The Adult Search Engine, Mr Eros, Forest Of Porn, GetPornLinks, Inet, Fucking Beaver, and a lot of smaller lists. There are also a few bigger lists who don't state in their rules that they list AVS, but will list them if you ask and they know you build nice sites, which you do If you're building premium AVS with recurring income build a bunch of galleries and freesites to promote them, that works as well.

I accept them from partners
Personally I prefer building premium ones and then doing as SheepGuy stated, build/submit galleries and freesites to promote them. This way you do not worry about who does or doesn't list them |

Thanks all...looks like Penisbot list them, too. I want to focus on premium sites, but I am curious as to why you could not use freesites to promote the non-premium ones as well.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
|
I take them at all my link lists.
If you are doing NV or Cyberage, let me know, I can toss up some links on my blogs specific to those two. Normally the non-premium sites aren't a whole lot bigger than a free site, so one of the reasons peeps don't promote them with tgps and free sites. I haven't built a non-premium AVS sites in years.

You could use freesites to promote non premium AVS sites but why bother? The thing that keeps me building AVS premium sites is that they recur better than any paysites I've promoted.

@Sheepy - they recur better because of the number of sites they have access to for their monthly payout?

My thinking is that when a surfer joins an AVS site one of their main reasons is that they get access to thousands of other sites. So they figure they'll never have to spend another dime on porn again
They are wrong of course, lustful human nature always demands more no matter how much you get, but they've made a bit of a commitment and they do stick around a very long time, and mostly surf within the network. So having the right ads inside your sites for camgirls, dating services, and videos on demand gives you a marketing edge for when they do get tired of what the AVS offers.

I assume that there is is some sort of restriction on these "non-network" ads? Where is a good place to study up on the basic structure of a premium AVS site? I am also very interested in aggressively diversifying my revenue |

Ads are not related to the AVS, upsell whatever you like.
Each AVS program allows a different number of links out on each page within your site so you have to check with the program. Usually its 1 or 2 links out. I like using 1 link out to a seperate page that I can list any number of sponsors to cross sell. NetVerifier has there own program that they cross sell in the members area, but you get 50% credit for it, which is nice and starts adding up as well. I learned from SheepGuy Basic structure is very similar to a freesite. You need a page for their sign up code and a members area page either with your content on that or links out to each gallery page. They usually want a graphic built title on all your pages. All this needs to be approved by them. What you build prior to those pages is up to you. I personally start with 2000+ images (some with videos and weekly updates) but the minimum requirement is usually around 300, check with the program to see for sure. AVS has diversified my revenue quite nicely and I want to publicly say Thank You to SheepGuy for it! Last edited by JustRobert; 2010-04-18 at 12:03 PM.. |

I used to give a lot of help out on the AVS side of things, I was kind of surprised when I first started hanging out here that more people weren't making a few bucks with them.
I helped a few people, even gave content to a few in exchange for ads on the inside of their AVS sites. Most built two or three sites, didn't get rich, and gave up. Which is an attitude I now encourage Robert didn't expect to get rich quick, worked it, modified what I was doing into a better model for him, and I've learned a thing or two from his approach that put a bit more dough in my pocket. That's the way a proper conspiracy against the porn buying public should work! Thanks Robert

Thanks for the info all. Sheepguy helped me a while back too. I like the avs model because people have to pay before they see anything. Cyberage (and some others too I think) wouldn't list sites on their internal link list if they had watermarked content, so I found getting traffic to be tough...but I've picked up a few more ideas, so maybe I can get rich now...

One hint for CyberAge is that their internal link list will get you very few hits so it's not worth worrying about if they don't list you. You'll need to generate your own traffic to sell memberships.
Really, none of the AVS's internal link lists are huge sources of traffic, but the few people they do send have credit cards and have bought porn with those credit cards.

I watermark all images and videos in my members area with no issues at NetVerifier. Thats one of the reasons I went with them. Since I started with them they upped their payouts for rebilling members which keeps me there. Something to think about.

Regarding the content , I noticed that some networks provide content , hosting while others such as Netverifier require that you provide your own.
I guess there are pros and cons of both approaches , do you guys use your own - what are your thoughts on this. |

Only using your own content and hosting makes it far easier to jump to another AVS program if you feel they are not performing, getting shave happy or go under.

I believe its counterproductive and you would have better chances of selling your sponsor by doing freesites. There is more traffic at say LOR alone then the AVS internal list. Even thou you can upsell inside there is far more money in selling the AVS and its rebills, at least this has been my experience.
I will be in the OTB chatroom for the next few hours so feel free to stop by and ask questions. Last edited by JustRobert; 2010-04-19 at 04:44 PM.. |

As long as it looks like a free site I really don't care what you promote with it.
Single line recip is fine, Category is not required. |
