...but. I stubbed/broke my toe so im sitting around whining mostly & now with a sore throat too. I think its payback from the weekend

As Pagan says in yesterdays thread, it's just to damn hot. It's not as bad here, though, but still a bit to much. As she also said, our apartments are build to keep heat on the inside and my landlord did not invest in AC

Morning.

Had to drive my daughter to an appointment yesterday and it was disappointing. Not awful, but not really enjoyable. Man, her determination to argue is soul crushing. Today, I get to drive her 2 hours to meet up with my wife. She'll then take her to a cottage up north for the remainder of the week. I'm happy to be able to go back to Toronto instead. Sigh. That's my afternoon. We'll see what my morning brings.

Good Morning

For the past 10 years we have done nothing for the 4th because of pets. We lost our last one last year right before but covid was going on. This year we went to 2 gatherings and i over did it with all the foods available at both. I then was up all night with stomach ache and spent most of yesterday catching up on the sleep I missed.

Feeling more normal today so I need to get back outside to do more work especially since it's a short week for me as I'm gone from Thursday night till Sunday night to watch my grandson's dog and cat while they all go camping.

Anyhoo I better get crackalackin.
