O.k, this is going to sound strange, but we have a pretty homely type office, laid back, TV's, Radio with Speakers in all rooms, Couch, Xbox on the way tonight.

So basically when we get into the office, we pack our lunches into the fridge, take our shoes off and boot up our systems (crap like that), the key to this story is taking off our shoes/sneakers. Well needless to say the next step in our day is going to the water cooler to fill up.

This morning, I remove sneakers, and walk up to water cooler, and step in 5 gallons of water that leaked into the overflow tray and onto the carpet, WET SOCKS!!!!!!!!! I HATE WET SOCKS!!!

Personally, I always wear shoes/sneakers/sandles - my buddy is a foot doctor of sorts & he told me most foot problems come from not wearing something on your feet for a majority of the day.

Well the sad update is that I never went to buy socks, I got too busy, worst part is I had to put the fuckers back on because I had an interview in the office today, grrr.

Hours upon hours later and I still HATE wet socks!!

I only buy socks that come with detailed instructions. My parents said they dropped me on my head alot when I was a kid.

We finns also keep shoes in work, but most of us have different pair of shoes to keep in work only.

One thing people here astonish are Americans who wear shoes in home. They lay in couch with shoes on, put their feet on couch table with shoes on, and go to bed with shoes on. At least in soaps and movies. We can't understand that, we don't wear shoes at home. We wear sandals for home use only.

In Thailand people got shoes off when they enter any house, office or home.

I always take my shoes off as soon as I get in my home at whatever door I come in. At one point, when I first got my white carpets installed, I tried to have my friends do the same, fuck you would think that I was asking them to get naked with the way they looked at me and bitched.

Many years ago I lived in San Francisco and everyone took their shoes off at the door, but most of my friends there were of Asian decent so maybe that had something to do with it.

Wait my Brazilian friends take their shoes off. I guess many Americans are just pigs…

I do take my shoes off at other peoples houses if they ask (or I see a pile of shows in the hallway) And I think the kids take their off here,but The Bitch & I both have fucked feet, so on the advice of our foot guy, we leave them on as much as possible.

Since I've been doing this, my feet have felt alot better at the last few conventions

Growing up in south Florida we never wore shoes at all so there was no shoes to take off at the front door, lol. It was just too damn hot down here to wear anything but cut offs and a little top.

I also have some big ass feet that are also very wide as does other people that I grew up with. I guess this is what happens when you don't wear shoes growing up.

Hah, so those American soaps are right, lol! We finns never go other peoples homes with shoes on. We bring our own sandals just for inhouse wear.
