Anyone remember Phil Fernando?
Phil Fernando, the musician, famous in the 1960's and 1970's from the Bronx?
He moved over to the UK a long time ago, and my brother Vin is now playing saxophone with him doing small gigs in pubs around where they live. This is all I could find on Ebay about Phil. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WD1V

My older brother Vin was returning from a gig at about 2:30am one morning after playing saxophone all night, and the local police stopped his car and tested him for drink.... he was not over the limit, but they spotted his saxophone case in the back of his car. They wanted to know what it was... and he told them it was a saxophone, so they asked him to open the case and wanted proof that it was his. So my brother gets the saxophone out and plays the Muppet theme tune full blast in a built up area at 2:30am... the police let him go and were very sorry they asked.

LOL
I wish our cops were like that. Actually, our in town cops would never pull someone living in the village over for anything I ride my bike in town without a helmet and they just wave at me when they see me |
