What TGP script are u using
I never tried using any tgp scripts. I imagine a perfect tgp script would be with no Zend, php-mysql driven. It would count the productivity of trades and allow to submit the number of galleries according to productivity level, e.g. 50% productivity - 1 per day, 100% - 2 per day.
Anyone heard of tgp scripts like that?

Vanilla TGP is a TGP script that has a traffic trade script implemented. I haven't used it previously but it might have the features you are looking for. It is PHP and mySQL driven. You may try it for free but it skims 2% of clicks.

I'm currently beta-testing my own TGP software Firefly, intend to start selling it sometime in the future once I get it working the way I want it to work
TGPX is very nice as well

Question
As part of my resolution for 2009 is to get more active in adult again starting with Vegas, I was wondering how much better TGPX is then AGP? I never upgraded to the sql version as my needs were not that intensive, but I do have licenses for 8 of my sites with AGPro With tech support not offered for the AGP anymore (though there is still a vast archive of help for it at JMB), is there any compelling reason for me to go with TGPXSE? |

For me it is much easier to use. Of course the Server Edition gave me more than enough room to grow into new niches. If your running on a dedicated server TGPXSE is the way to go.

Me fail English? That's unpossible!

I started long ago with Comus for thumb management and TM3 for trades. If I were to start over I wouldn't use either.

Finding someone who has used both would be difficult. I can only say Comus is extensive and therefore bulky.

I've used both...I first started with comus because it was free if you let them do their skim. I actually still have it installed on one of my sites...and right now I just visited the site to refresh my memory of why I quit using it and the answer is mostly because it doesn't seem user friendly and it seems like all they're doing is trying to sell clicks with info like:
Day 1 1000 visitors x 300% prod = 3000 clicks x 33% shave to trades = 1000 to trades. Day 2 (1000 visitors + 1000 back from trades) x 300% prod = 6000 clicks x 33% shave to trades = 2000 to trades. Day 3 (1000 visitors + 2000 back from trades) x 300% prod = 9000 clicks x 33% shave to trades = 3000 to trades. and then the info about the bookmarks...and then the testimonials like this one: Codraw: I thought it was that simple just to put thumbs on the sites and they (surfers) would click, that proves me wrong... without this prod boost, I WAS LIVING IN THE STONE AGE, this plan boosted 2 of my sites within less than 24hrs... before blind trades were 70%-85% productivity, now its 120+% and my sites grew 200% in less than 72 hours! Codraw: 27k to 63k in less than 24 hrs ...hehe SixZeros-ComusThumbs: holy SMOKES!!! how long has it taken to grow? Codraw: been around 25-30k for a while SixZeros-ComusThumbs: so it was on 25 to 30k for months, we apply Comus, and with no new trades it grew in 24hours to 63k ?? Codraw : that's right about 12 hrs after comus had collected enough clicks and rating SixZeros-ComusThumbs : maybe, I should just stop selling it, and just make sites. Codraw : just like what i've done, keep building sites... SixZeros-ComusThumbs : Hmmm, I guess its time we looked for a bigger server... how he went to from 24k to 63k in 24 hrs just didn't make sense to me...I'm not trying to flame CT, i'm just saying it didn't seem realistic to me, especially after I was using it and I saw no traffic increase FROM THE SCRIPT in 2 months AS ADVERTISED. The last thing that kept me from committing to CT was the price at the time, you can see the prices are slashed on their website now and I think that's because a lot of people are using TGPX which is very very very very competitive. I'm sure CT is a solid product...lots of people have good shit to say about it...I just couldn't grasp it and was a little skeptical. I also didn't like admin interface...one feature they do have that's cool is you can put your affiliate codes in the main admin under the affiliate tabs for several affiliate programs and auto import their galleries...there is a similar plug in from smart-thumbs.com for tgpx which is pretty awesome and does the same thing. It is nice that you can try CT for free, well for a 6% skim or something like that... TGPX was a good choice on my part...I really like the script I have 6 server licenses and really only use 3 of them...but the other three are non-transferable/non-saleable...so that kind of sucks So do answer your question...TGPX is wayyyyyyyyy eaiser for me to use than CT. Best of luck to you... |

If you had the choice between Comus and TGPX I'd seriously say go for TGPX.
