Why Give Away Free Porn When You Can Make Money With Free Porn?

Some of you may remember me, some of you may not... I've been out of the adult loop for a couple of years or so and am going to give it another shot.

I cannot seem to wrap my head around starting new sites that give more of the same away... free pics, movies, etc... Whynot give away free memberships instead and make money?

Will webmasters ever ban together and stop giving away free pics/videos?? We'd all make more money!

Hi there Ramster. You really think they are making that kind of bread? To me they seem like a glorified mgp with long movies. Which leads me to believe they have a lot of free loading surfers and not necessarily buyers. But, this is of course just a guess.

No kidding? That's crazy... I remember when they were first coming out and a lot of people around here were against them. Probably because they were a threat to LL's and Tgp's I would imagine.

The problem with FREE access is all the bullshit that those that did sign up had to go through not so long ago - all the add-ons that needed to be canceled I really think surfers and would be buyers are leary of that tactic now. And good to see you BigWood..I recently came back as well

Some of them are hitting in the Alexa Top50, while an older "high" traffic site like WorldSex is around 10,000 rank!

Porn.com jumped from around 5000 to 1000 traffic rank when they switched to a tube format!

I think there's still many against them but coming to realize they aren't going anywhere soon and there's 10s of thousands of smaller to medium sized ones to replace them if they do and yes many of the big ones are pulling insane numbers both in traffic and dollars.
