DevShed has a lot of good MySQL articles, both for beginners and more experienced people: http://www.devshed.com/c/a/MySQL/
O'Reilly also got a bunch: http://www.onlamp.com/onlamp/general/mysql.csp

There's one more that has a lot of articles that I can't find right now. I'll dig through my bookmarks

your best bet is to use phpMyAdmin to create your databases.

I'll second that. phpMyAdmin will make things a lot easier if you're just getting started with it.

.The pictures are showing the phpMyAdmin control panel..I am have no idea how to create the tables for it..I can get as far as getting the name for a table then I am lost...The little info I have found for it seems to be more of a install for it..not a user manual...I thought if I could somewhat understand the language of php/mysql it would help
The above links I have not fully read through yet but will be here in a min...TY swedguy

This topic was moved...I apoligize for starting it in the wrong place...

Just a quick update...Swedguy those links helped a bunch I got my table set up and I can actually add data to it.. I can't remember which one it was but there is a very basic one for the phpadmin that I actually understood, it was exactly what I need to get started..Thanks again...I have a lot to learn still....
