Since AVS is About Dead, What Now?

What does one do with their quality AVS sites in a post-AVS world? I suppose the obvious answer would be to get your own processing. Well, that's fine and dandy for those who can afford such luxuries, but not for those of us who can't, and therefore chose to use an AVS for our processing.

I suppose I could open up the members areas and plaster the gallery pages with ads. That's all I can think of right now.

Any suggestions?

If you're wondering why I claim the model is dead, it's because neither NefVerifier or SexKey reply to emails. Once the communication stops, the end is nigh. Adult-Empire is still thriving, but I'm not fond of their system.

I have a bunch of decent purchased content that I have next to know use for outside of a members area. I'd like to eek out a few more bucks off it before it gets retired. This makes me very sad. I was even going to half-assed promote it this time.

have you tried ICQ'ing Evil Chris? He has responded to me even on weekends. 342827.

I also have used Zombaio to process stand alone sites, and unless they have changed, they are free to set up.

Personally, I'm still promoting AVS sites. I split the traffic between NetVerifier, SexKey and Adult Empire, but my ratios might change with the issues you are having, they are making me nervous too.

Personally, I'm still promoting NetVerifier, because I haven't had issues with payment but with all the issues you've had I'm thinking of switching more of my traffic to sexkey and adult empire.

I emailed SexKey specifically asking if they are still alive. Thus far, no response. I was thinking of moving my two sites over to them and building more with my content. I don't have ICQ on this computer and probably won't install it since I have only the rarest use for it.

From what I have read at the zoo, Zombaio now charges for CC acceptance. Plus, they are having MASSIVE payout issues.

I don't think you need to panic about NetV quite yet. I seem to be the only person they aren't paying. It may be some glitch. It's their lack of response to multiple emails and their own message that bothers me. I don't think I'm going to bother to pursue them any longer. I don't have the fight in me anymore.

If your old AVS sites get any sort of traffic at all, it's worth it to have them listed with Sexkey or Mansites. chris at sexkey dot com

I use an IM client that does ICQ and a bunch of others. Plus you could always use the web version of ICQ.

I still do a far amount of biz on ICQ. I leave my IM client and Skype running all the time. I also do a lot of mainstream biz using text messaging.

Pretty much anything goes on SexKey, I have had sites that were entirely hosted galleries, you can have a site that is a one page gallery, and other sites I have have 1,000's of pictures.

I host all my own sites.

I'm checking that form right now to see where the mail goes. Could be going to an old address, nevertheless my email address is on that page but I'll get it sorted out.

In terms of rules, there is nothing posted regarding this. We have our own in-house compliance person that looks over submissions. Anything obviously out of line gets rejected. Main rule of thumb is make sure your content is being used legally. ie. it's either yours to use, or if it's sponsor content, you need to be promoting that sponsor in tandem with Sexkey.

I can address specific questions as they arise.

I understand that you can't get NV to pay you and are looking for a complete change but you can run SK along with NV on the same site. I give the surfer both options with different join pages and different member areas. The reason I say this is that nearly all choose NV for me which is good because I like rebills.

At this point, I'm more upset about not being able to get a hold of the NetV people/person. I didn't know there was money sitting there for all that time anyway. And it is completely possible that I screwed something up in my account and that's why it's still sitting there. I don't see anything, but the possibility remains. My biggest issue as I attempt to return and supplement my income, is that I cannot move forward with them if I cannot find out whether or not payment is due. It's not a lot it looks like it was just one member rebilling month after month. Had I known there was a potential to earn there, I would have promoted the damn sites.

FYI I had an in-house tech comb through incoming mail from that form and he didn't see anything recent or related to what you're doing. No matter though, you have all my contact info. If you do start submitting to SK, I'll be around to approve sites and provide support.

I know I run site depth for all my sites for content, and that is the one thing I hate about adult empire, can't run a content script. But, it is the only way I have for others to resell my stuff, and I do make a bit here and there on sales, so I have some up there.

Even though I've been using Adobe products since the late eighties I've been doing the Adobe Classroom in a Book series. It's amazing how much I've learned and how much they have improved my design skills. So far I've done Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator and now I'm getting ready to do Photoshop.

A lot of the jobs I've been looking at are asking for AdWords‎ and SEO expertise so next I'm going to start taking the Google courses.
