Apple Now Censoring Content
I've been watching the news on similar matters re Apple very carefully and it's a major concern to me for obvious reasons. It's particularly problematic because many content publishers are so eager to get on the platform that they're not yet speaking up -- and Apple's history suggests it will be difficult to get them to change. I'm hoping android and webOS alternatives become strong competitors in this space, because there's a great need for it.

I'll add to what Cleo said. The only reason we cry censorship here is because it's electronic. If a bookstore said "no thanks" to a product we wouldn't be giving it any thought. No one can tell Apple what to sell on their platform except the market. If the market is that hostile towards it they'll change their tune. We wouldn't take kindly if adult consumers demanded we put gay content on our straight sites or straight content on our gay sites. We decide, it is our product.
