Hey my back is out and I been on 9 days bed rest and taking crazy amounts of pain killers, gonna try and review tonight in bed with the laptop, I got a big queue, tues I go to a back doctor and in may, I have a surgery on my foot that needs done from an old accident, then prolly back surgery, c6 and 7 are so bad that the discs flattened my spinal cord, then almost all my other discs are bulged or herinated

so dont loose faith I will get your sites listed

Hey Plateman. Back pain sucks. I've been dealing with that stuff for years. You can't do anything when your back is fucked up. Even trying to sleep is a miserable experience.

thanks guys I had to go to the ER twice this last weekend for pain shots friday night and early monday

I tryed to sleep, sunday night after taking 3 10/325 hydrocodone, I am allowed a max of 6 a day, thats 12 of the normal 5 strength vicodin and still had almost unbearable back pain in the c6 and 7 area, (thats about between your shoulder blades) so then my ribs were hurting like crazy and I moved over on my back and a shocking pain shot from my back, to my chest and it felt like a house was sitting on my chest, my hearing stopped working for a min or 2 and all my fingers went numb, scared the fuck out of me, I then sat up and the chest pain stopped, it was almost 5am and I woke the wife up to get me to the ER, I was in so much pain I was shaking and they shot me up with didlaudid and sent me home pain free

they dropped me off at the door and they put me in a wheel chair, while my family slept out in parking lot in our mini van

I beat my body to death all my life from motocross, jetskis and building race cars and working crazy amounts of hours on my stuff and doing side jobs

here's all my muscle skeletal conditions I have

myofascial pain syndrome(extreme muscle pain from doing any kind of labor more than a day or 2)

chronic costochondritis(pain in your rib and sterum cartilage)

degenerative disc disease

3 herniated discs, then all my other discs are bulged

then when I was 15 my left leg got smashed in a car motorcycle accident, that left my leg with extensive muscle and nerve damage, took 2 years for the bone to heal, and that wasn't bad enough, the shift lever cut all the tendons on top of my foot as it ripped through my foot leaving me with a claw foot, all my toes are bent over permanently, they never really hurt that bad all through my life till last fall, now I cant even walk around the house without extreme pain, I am getting them fixed may 21, I'll have 5 pins sticking out of my toes 4 to 6 weeks while the toe joints fuse together

then about 15 years ago I almost died from what greenie's wife had... I was working one day and felt a stabbing pain in my lower gut, then as the days went on I got sicker and sicker till I almost died from the infection, I thought I had the stomach flu, had to have emergency surgery and woke up in recovery with a shit bag hooked to my stomach, I had to wait 6 months for my abdominal cavity to heal from the infection, and they almost lost me in the recovery room, I was in recovery for 12 hours and then a week in ICU, I had so many tubes draining infection out of me it was insane

then after 6 months they did another surgery to hook me back up the way I was before...

So greenie tell your wife to watch for any stabbing pains fallowed by fever, get to help ASAP, dont put that pain off like I did

why did I type all this stuff out? is because they put me back on oxy and I like to talk when it's kicking in, and since there is no one to talk to right now...

Plus I networked with a lot of good people over the years and I just wanted to tell my story, I left out my stent jobs

OUCH!!! Plateman, we will be patient, we will wait for you. If we as a community can help you, we will. Those levels of pain are so nasty - they leave you tired with no desire to do anything but find one position that doesn't hurt. (Psst.. some of us are live in the chatroom if you want interaction.)

I haven't submitted anything to you, but get well soon anyway. And enjoy the pain killers! My happiest recollection is about 20 minutes after coming out of surgery with what I think was Demerol surging through my bloodstream. For a while, it felt like the world was actually a nice place to be instead of the shithole that it really is.

Anyway, best wishes for a quick recovery.

(on a side note, my worst recollection was a trip to a dentist that looked like and had the mannerisms of Hannibal Lecter. Feeling, hearing, sensing him crack one of my molars with a pair of pliars as he smiled didn't help)

Be careful! The actual hydrocodone is mostly harmless, but if you get the version with paracetamol aka acetaminophen, too much will destroy your liver liver and kidneys.
