Its oil change Thursday 20131121
My car uses synthetic oil so only needs its oil changed every 10,000 miles and since I barely drive it it's been over 3 years since I've had it changed but now every time I drive it the change oil now message is displayed. I could just get rid of the message by turning the key to the on position and steeping on the gas three times but then I would forget all about getting its oil changed so today is oil change day.
Got up at 4:30 this morning to go to the gym with Christy. I feel a nap is in today's agenda. Other than that just another thrilling day of trying to make money. |

Good morning!
It's a nice day here in Toronto. Aside from working on my adult stuff, I have a couple of small non-adult jobs. Oh yeah, have to get my haircut. That takes about 10 minutes! Have a great day! |

Did the oil change thing today here as well, with synthetic oil. Likely due to also driving a GM product. Even though I don't come close to driving the miles I still change it annually when I get my state emissions and safety inspection.
That was just one stop on a very busy morning. Bank, dentist, drive-thru to get lunch, oil change (ate lunch as I was waiting), bakery, grocery store and finally pharmacy to pick up prescription refills. I shouldn't have to leave the house again for four or five days. I think I need a nap or a |

Just watched "An Adventure In Time And Space" on TV. Loved it.
Those of you lucky enough to have access to BBC America should get it too, as it was co-financed by BBC America. There are a few facts that are not 100% accurate, but I think this is simply due to having to fit three years into the length of a movie. It the second best programme on British TV this week (The best being the one coming on Saturday). For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, it a TV movie charting the start of a new series in 1963, and following it through the first three seasons. For those of you wondering which TV show it was about, do the math: 1963 was 50 years ago. I am being ecstatic about it. That should be all you need to know (And no, G it has nothing to do with any boy band nor any ageing British rockers). |

Dr who did not do it. Dr who got screwed over by it happening the day before the first episode. Because news travelled slower in those days, most people did not know about the assassination until the Saturday. Britain was in shock and mourning, and no new sci-fi series stood a chance.
However my favourite conspiracy theory came from a different British sci-fi show (Red Dwarf). In that the crew of the Red Dwarf (space mining ship) went back in time and ended up in the book depositary, accidentally stopping Lee Harvey Oswald from killing Kennedy. They then jumped a few years forward in time. JFK had lived, but been indited for most of the stuff he is rumoured to have done. America was so shocked, they just sort of gave up and the mobs took over, turning the USA into a hell hole. The crew of the Red Dwarf rescue JFK from jail, explain that if he had died he would be a national hero, and America would be a great country. Thinking about this JFK gets them to take him back in time to Dallas on the day of the (now failed) assassination. They give him a gun, and JFK waits behind the grassy knoll for his past self to arrive.... |
