Theft or should I feel flattered?
It looks like a sex forum is ripping off all the posts from one of my blogs. Is this just a clever way of filling up a forum with fake posts (I'm certainly not a member there)? I don't even know if I should care. It looks like all my links are intact, even though they are served in a frame. Maybe I even get some traffic from it.

I'll bet you it's some schmuck from this board who owns that thing. Ponygirl's blog has been ripped too.

That's what I was thinking as well. Too much of a coincidence that 3 board members are being ripped.

I've seen that before...I went to register & my username Ponygirl was taken so I reg'd with TheRealPonygirl
looks like the username is just to post the blog links. I didn't see anything too interesting in there...I guess it's just filler for the forums?? So does it seem to you guys that it's harmless? I don't care if people link to my stuff, as long as I'm not getting ripped off. although it would be interesting to know who it belongs to |

If you guys & gals can get me some info, I can look to see if it's a board member.
PM me if you do not wish to post it (but I'd post it since they're not exactly playing nice - lol) |

Heck if your links are in tact it's almost like having a free employee ;-) If they are just in need of filler the way to go about it would be to ask permission and I'm sure that you all would say fine as long as my links are in tact...and maybe ask for a link back if they have PR.
I went and looked at the site a bit. The only reply to Ponygirl came from a username manoj. There was an online support guy recently at webair named manoj. I had some issues and he helped me...I gave him my user/pass info. in the process. Soon after my server was hacked and we never did resolve exactly how. FTP breach was ruled out and they blamed it on a script vulnerability. All of my scripts were up to date. The only other possible way in at the time might have been through a brute force through my VTI bin...They would have been able to see that this happened I believe. I am not positive of it but I do not believe Manoj is still with Webair. I know Ponygirl hosts at Webair... I could be paranoid but it smells funny to me. If you were perhaps Indian and perhaps scorned and perhaps not the best English writer... Then again Manoj could be like John in India and I could be all wet. Too bad they didn't hit me. I was ready.
I like to end each blog post with a link back to my blog root. Nifty practice I started in my first days of internet publishing when I noticed a lot of mindless copycats.
