Language question
Hi
Is 'Move Along' something you can say and what does it mean? When I try to translate it with various translation services it comes up with "Flytte Sammen". Flytte sammen means 'moving in together'. As in cohabitants or roommates. (Usually used when a couple are finally moving in together.) Now, I've always thought Move Along means something like 'Moving on' or 'Get on with it'. But today I started to doubt ... I'm writing some lyrics, so I'd like it to be correct. Jolly |

There is an old saying. "You gotta go along to get along."
Move along is something cops say... "Move on" or Movin' on, might be closer to what you need. You can borrow from the 60s and say "Keep on truckin" as well.
