Why do I suddenly have chills running down my spine at the idea of having to start locking down my forums ... this thing better work off a fixed list that gets updated by you guys, where I can get my stuff taken off it if it's on there...

Yeah, see, that's what I'm not happy with - I already have to deal with spambots on my forums, and the last thing I want is people auto-posting stuff. If they are going to post, let them do it by hand. This is giving me visions of a forum filled with auto-posts and my server getting hammered because of it. Chameleon Submitter is alright, but EFS to me just sounds like a full on spamming tool, and I don't like it

MadCat, thank you for your comments, now preparing short tutorials for EFS and you will see, that isn't spam tool, but effective tool for webmasters

Stop kidding yourself, it's a spam tool - you may not think that it is, but do you really think people will only use it for good?

Elmy, I don't know man, I'd feel much better if EFS would either carry an unmodifiable blacklist of forums it just flat out refuses to post to, or a way for a forum to indicate it does not wish to be auto-posted to (by way of a header, meta tag, or other information), that the user of EFS can not bypass. That's the point where I'd be saying you're on the right track. As Greenie said right now, I don't really have faith in it being an effective tool for "good" webmasters, no doubt that it will be a great tool for spammers.
Similar issue really with Chameleon, I had one of my sites in there for a while and didn't ask for it, and I had to deal with submits of serious shitty quality being hammered through - caused me to just close the site in the end because the hassle wasn't worth my time

MadCat, respect your commnets, thank you for using chameleon!
As I said to Greenie, depends on character. I'm sure we have serious users lots of them are big companies in adult industry, and are very serious partners.

Beyond that there's legal penalties after the fact. And the cleanup. You also didn't answer my question Yes, I gave Chameleon a test run, and also, yes, I had one of my own sites end up in it's database, with the net result of having to close the site down due to the hassle of having to review 200+ submissions daily. Let me ask you this; Does EFS use an easily recognisable user agent to do it's posting? If not, or if the user can change it, then EFS = spam tool. If not, then you should at the very least tell people what the user agent is, so that those of us who don't want to be bothered by it can slap in some .htaccess rules to deny access to EFS. Our forums, after all, so our rules
