Tuesday August 20th - Where has all my vision gone?

So, we are now 4 days post op. I have limited cloudy vision in one eye and fairly decent vision in the other. Watching TV is out, doing a lot on the computer is out, and worse.. I can't see well enough to stitch. I am screwed. No porn, no needlework. Guess I will just put my shields back on and crawl in bed for the day. We do have a doctor's appointment in a few hours but I am not terribly hopeful that I will get any improvement.

Been awake less than an hour & today is already a clusterfuck. The Bitch is working from home starting at 9:30 which wasn't on the calendar when I scheduled my mom's aid to come give her a shower at 9:30. Assil at Noon, Chiro at 3, brief periods or work in between.

What sort of eye surgery did you have?

I had cataracts in both eyes removed on Friday afternoon. I went for both at the same visit because the clinic is over an hour from our home. The doctor was actually pleased with the healing. The cloudy, blurry vision is because the cornea is swollen. That one eye was a tough one for him and it took longer to do. So, it has that bit of a post op complication. Nothing bad. No shots or medications for it. I just have to be patient and keep to a limited schedule. We will get there, one day at a time. Funny how I can't wait to get back to the porn... and the stitching.

So, tonight when you watch TV, watch a bit extra for me... I already had my 30 minutes for the day.
