YNOT Announces official categories for the YNOT Awards

PRAGUE (Aug. 9, 2011) – YNOT Group is pleased to announce that a panel of industry jurors has selected the official categories for the inaugural YNOT Awards, which will be presented during the European Summit in Prague this September. With the categories selected, YNOT Awards now moves to the next step of the process, during which jurors will choose the nominees for each category.

To maximize their impact and prestige, YNOT Awards are limited to just twenty categories. The categories selected were suggested by individual jurors and then submitted to the entire panel for feedback.

The chosen categories are those that received the most support, and they are:

4. Most Innovative Affiliate Program
5. Best Overall Adult Website
6. Best Niche Website
7. Best Retail Website
8. Best Tube Website
9. Best Adult Review Website
10. Best Solo Girl Website
11. Best Mobile Website
12. Best Adult VOD Company
13. Best Adult Hosting Company
14. Best Adult Design Company
15. Best Software Company
16. Best Adult Webcam Company
17. Best Adult Dating Company
18. Best Billing Company
19. Businessman of the Year
20. Businesswoman of the Year


"It's always difficult when you have to limit categories, because that means you have to make tough cuts and someone's good suggestion will be left out," explains Connor Young, president of YNOT Group LLC. "But we were dead set on limiting the number of categories to just 20. When you have awards shows where the entire industry is nominated, we feel that really degrades the value of the nomination."

Nominees in each category will be announced next week, at which point everyone in the industry will be invited to vote for their favorites. Campaigning is expected and encouraged.

Winners will be announced during a gala celebration Sept. 21 at the incredible SaSaZu nightclub, one of the most impressive entertainment venues in Prague.
