Opinions On The New LOR index.html Page Part II

Yesterday I asked everyone for their opinion on a new effect I was trying out on the background. It was about 33/33/33 as far as linking it, not linking it & not being sure. Most of the negative opinions seemed to be because of the bright color of the outside of the background.

So I've changed it. Please vote & comment on the new Greenguy Link O'Rama index.html page

Including a screen shot incase it looks different to others on in other browsers.

The neon green text is like trying to read neon lights. When big only for a short time it gets your attention but I wouldn't want to read news stories presented using neon lights.

The first I voted "Not Sure" , I liked it and not at the same time, this one is definite NO for me. There is nothing special about this darker version.

I like this one a lot better. It's cool but not hard on the eyes.

I'm sticking with I sorta like it but still annoyed at the same time. It bothers my eyes, not as bad as the first one did but then again I am old

It doesn't hurt my eyes like the last one. So it's definitely better, but I'm still not crazy about it.

The Ashley Madison background works because it's going from a darker pink to a slightly light pink. The effect is subtle and feels natural. Going from neon green to black doesn't have the same effect.

Alphabet is misspelled (alfabet).

Stop commenting on the font - it's been Lime on Black for 15 years & I ain't changing it!

I like the neon on the dark background much better. Has the sleazy porn look we have come to love. The yellow ad at the top looks pretty good, too. Maybe add a touch of yellow in other places, too so the color green is not blindingly dominant.

Shouldn't you have boobies or something that indicates this site is for horny adults? A nice eye catching graphic at the bottom would be nice, fwiw.

I don't get the vertical addthis buttons. Is that supposed to be that way? Looks a little out of whack to me.
