even OEB and the Treasury buildings are blanked out.

The Pentagon and the region's largest parking lot is quite visible. RR International Airport looks really clear. Blue Plains, the Navy Base, Andrews Air Force Base is quite clear. I would suspect whatever bureau they purchased the images from is under contract to remove significant buildings. The Old Russian Embassy is pictured, National Geographic... The Capitol building isn't obscured.

Just East of the WTC construction site is a 'block' that is missing -- not sure if that is intentional or a glitch, but, zooming to different levels doesn't fix it. The Sub pen at groton, ct appears to suffer the same glitch.

Norfolk, VA has a bunch of missing blocks where Naval operations take place. Ironically part of the Naval Academy is blocked out. Fort Meade's data center seems to be missing.

They appear to have blocked out the parts that don't contain tourist attractions, but, obscured some of the buildings that are in areas where they couldn't get away with removing the photo altogether.
