Still trying to catch up. Been working since 6.30 this morning and have so far got to the point I expected to be eight days ago! May have to give up on sleeping if I ever hope to get up to date.

This morning I added my unstoppable pop under to the last of my low profit bondage sites (with the exception of a couple that I want to tidy up a bit, and I may as well leave adding the pop under until then, and do the two jobs together).

Just added the evil thing to: Torture Annie In Bondage (With Annie's permission), Genuine Bondage (With Throat's permission), Naked Bondage (ditto), BDSM Smilies, Japanese Bondage, and Japanese Torture.

Oh, and I also rearranged my chutney shelf. Not a mind blowingly important job, but I needed a break from adding despicable code to low profit websites and being a bit of a chutney enthusiast (sad but true) I decided to do something I would enjoy doing (again, sad but true) but would also be useful(ish).

Running the PussyCash NFL Pool. Also writing various articles, updating, organizing and reorganizing, all from my little old 900 Mhz backup computer running Win ME, as it's finally upgrade time. I'm negotiating a deal with a local computer shop to have a custom build done for me. Just waiting to hear back on if they can obtain the parts I've asked for, and come in at or under the price I'm prepared to pay. If it's a go then I should have it by Monday. If they want all of my business + referrals, and I think that they do, they'll find a way.

Main computer is headed to the shop for some work as well. Good thing I have everything backed up six ways to next week.

OK, this is fun!

I'm still adding that unstoppable pop under to non profit sites. Unfortunately, because all my targets are sites that I sort of gave up on because they are making little or no money, I have not worked on them for ages. And the problem I'm finding is that I have created several hundred sites in the time I have been working online, and I have usually named the folders something short and (I thought at the time) memorable, rather than the domain name. The result is that I am now having difficulty finding the bloody folders. For example, I have a site called "Teen Sex In Norfolk" which I eventually found in a folder called "caister-college" (because that was going to be the name of the fictitious college where the action took place). It took me ages to find that folder.

So what I am working on now is sorting through several hundred folders, and renaming them with names I'll actually recognise.

Ho hum, seventeen years of web work to look through!

Today I will mostly be kicking myself and calling myself an idiot.

Went into the first TGP I ever wrote a script for. It is a complicated thing because it was written when I was learning Perl, and did not know everything yet. As a result it uses about a dozen different scripts and about thirty different flatpacked databases. Trying to add my pop under to the site I accidentally deleted all the scripts and databases!

Re-uploading and redoing file permissions was annoying enough, but I have not backed it up in a while, so had to restore from an old backup. Fortunately the TGP is not one I allow submission to, being the first one I scripted I used sponsor galleries to avoid further complicating it by writing a submit form and associated scripts. However backing up from a (very) old set of databases means it is full of dead links, and as soon as I can find the time I am going to have to go through it and kill the dead ones. Again because it was an early script of mine, it cannot do this itself, so I am going to have to check them all manually.

Shit, just what I need. More work!

Fixed the "only two galleries" problem, and now discover that the layout looks shit in Chrome!

One fun problem with the site though, caused by adding the popunder:

The site gives you a choice between opening the galleries in the same window, or opening them in a new window. If I choose "new window" my pop up blocker allows the pop under (which it is designed to block) but blocks the gallery (which you want)!

Created a new Facebook "Funny Stuff" page, partly as a way of pushing my non-adult sites and partly as a place to dump stuff that amuses me. That dog/cat video that I posted on the chat board is there, along with a boxing cat, and a link to my satire site. I'll add more funny stuff as I find it, and more links to my websites when I have a few people watching it!

Back to realising that Useless was correct - I am a "Fucking Idiot".

For the past couple of hours I have been rebuilding Barry's Girls - Teens And Amateurs. I noticed it was 404ing, and assumed the domain had expired and I had forgotten to renew. When I went to do so, found I was registered until well into next year. What I think happened is that a few weeks back I was deleting domains that I had given up from my server, and I think I must have deleted this domain by mistake!

Now going to try to relax by working on my jokes website.

When I started adding my pop-under to my low/no profit sites I put two aside because they needed tidying up as they are old, messy sites and a bit of improvement may make them more profitable. However looking at the first of these this morning I decided that I don't have the time to do one of them. It is a big job, and I am so far behind that it will have to wait, possibly indefinitely. Instead I decided to throw my pop-under on it for now.

So I have just added my pop-under to Sorority Initiations.
