Worpress-O-Matic - WARNING

If any of you guys are using wordpress-o-matic, use phpmyadmin and look at the feed URL in the wp_wpo_campaign_feed table. Evidently wordpress-o-matic is just braindead enough to think & really means &amp, and that will prevent your affiliate links from showing up in any posts it puts in your blog.

So always double check in phpmyadmin and make sure your feed links are right before fetching posts.

I'm new to adding rss feeds to blogs..I noticed that it was dropping my ccbill aff codes in posts from the feeds.

Can you tell me how to change this in phpadmin or give an example please.

or is there another rss feed importing plugin that just works ?

In PHPMyAdmin, open the database your blog is using, select the "wpo_campaign_feed" table and put the correct feed address in the table's URL field for whichever record (ie which feed) you are fixing. This wont fix posts you have already downloaded. The best thing to do is just delete the bad posts, then delete the campaign and then recreate it, but fix the URL in PHPMyAdmin before "fetching".

What you have to watch out for the most is &. If you see a "&" in the feed URL, you know you have to fix it with PHPMyAdmin before fetching.
