Football 2009

There goes Oklahoma... And I laughed when i saw BYU at #20.

'Bama/VT is the game of the day, not a big fan of the ACC but love Beamer Ball and VT and anytime I can see Saban lose, well that makes me smile.

Michigan played no one but they looked good doing it.

Notre Dame has 12 games this year, 8 at home and 4 on the road... gotta love the "Notre Dame Rule" that seems to cover everything.

Oregon/Bosie St was a decent game, but wow, talk about a melt down, we are going to the Purdue@Oregon game next Saturday, I like our chances more now than I did a few days ago, not sure we can win there since Oregon is a TOUGH team to beat at home and we are pretty young, but I don't see a blowout happening.

And as always, post your pick for the title.

I didn't see the game, just the final score. WTF? is right. Rutgers was a 5 point favorite. I bet that turned some heads in Corvallis, Cincinnati comes to town in two weeks.

Cincy marched down the field and scored on first possession, Rutgers made 2 - 4th/1 in a 20 play 10+ min drive to score and stopped Cincy inside the 2 for a FG...

Then Cincy got their 3rd possession.....

Yup, back and forth all night.

I always enjoy watching Bobby Bowden get beat, especially at home.

And FYI, if anyone ever has the opportunity to see an Oregon Ducks game at Autzen stadium bring ear plugs, the place is incredibly loud and by far the loudest crowd I have ever heard for a game.

And the Duck fans are incredible friendly and hospital, it got kind of weird after a while wearing Old Gold and Black in a sea of Green and Yellow being welcomed and asked if we are having fun, if Purdue ever returns to Oregon, we will be there.

Do you recall the last time you saw a QB so cool and smooth under fire like that kid from Miami? I've watched 2 games of his and he looks like he is just dancing by himself with no concern in the world when he's getting chased out of the pocket.

Miami looks good, I am not sold on 'Bama just yet...
