Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

anyone knows of a processor that uses epassporte?
i know theres paycom, but is there others ?
the reason i ask is that i contacted epassporte allmost 3 weeks ago. got a reply: the mail has been sent to the proper department , expect a answer back in 72 hours. 9 days later i asked the support if the department was on holiday and was asked to write them directly. so i did. 4 days later i wrote them and asked them if they just didnt wanted anymore buissness. very unprofessional i think! shouldt have been an easy question to answer i think. so if anyone else has got any info, that epassporte have no interest in sharing - please let me know thx in advance

Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip!
|
what do you mean a "processor that usese epassporte"?
a 3d party processor handles credit card transactions for you. i believe epassporte is related to epoch who owns paycom. |

I think most that pay out to affiliates via ePassporte set up their own account with ePassport & send the money via their admin - so you could have CCBill doing all your processing, as long as you were paying the affiliates yourself (if that makes sense)

GG I noticed the other day about the Affialiate thing. Im using mine for something differant with ccbill. Not paying WM but the sign up process is the same. From talking with CCBill anyone who signs up for the program will be mailed a check directly from ccbill. I'm not trying to jump off the topic here, just tought since it came up it would be a good place to ask. How is anyone, if anyone is doing such a thing? IE using ccbill to process but yet paying out themselves, not havein ccbill send the check to the afil.

Since they are the "hot topic" on the board, Rage Cash uses Paycom & CCbill for processing, they have each of the processors send them one big check each pay period & then they distribute that money to the affiliates...and via ePassporte if you wish
Of course, from a simple "ease of use" POV, having one processor that handles everything would be easiest, which is why a lot of programs processing via CCBill do it that way. |

Rock stars ... is there anything they don't know?
|
I set my site up directly with epassporte. So I accept checks, credit cards through Jettis. Epassporte through epassporte.
I pay the affiliates instead of Jettis handling it. If webmasters want epassporte, pay-pal, wire or whatever we handle it in house.

OK well just got off the phone with my ccbill rep. I dont know how rage cash is doing it but thats ok. I have mine set up correctly, and even tho its a little bit of a pain in the ass. Its the easiest way for me. So Ill keep going at it this way. Good news is I found out how to get all the checks to come to me, and I do the payouts.

well thats a way to do it allso.
if the post wasnt so slow from the states. u know - i recived a letter from australia in jut 3 days. that has never happend with a sponcer check from the states. if there was a way of getting a us bank account, getting them to recive checks and process em, and having a credit card from that bank - that might work. but what is the chances. and how about tax. ** confused by now **

Some times I cant understand why programme owners forget they should really focus on retention. May I ask what system you are moving to? What you are explaining seems to happen a lot here in the UK, people move to new affiliate systems which saves a few points on the processing fees though then have to deal with all the admin in house. What I am learning since seeing a couple of programmes leave CCBill is that the payout dates are really sparadic and often require chasing. You seem to be understanding of your affiliates by leaving the old tours in place. Would it therefore not be advantageuos of you to offer webmasters two options even if its till you are able to cut and ship your own cheques? Outpayments to your affiliates is a big responsibility one that I feel programme owners are quick to move down their list of things to do. Chqs still remain the best way to get, easy to record and simple to bank no matter what currency they turn up in. I hope some of this is helpful to you, what I have wrote is based on real experience, I am sure you have thought all this through but if I stumbled across a programme that offered just EP payout I would be very concerned at its stability. This may sound really harsh but I think you could do your business real harm by turning your back on CCBill. |

I think it's a good idea to offer more than one payment option. We offer ePassporte, wire and money bookers and we're about to reinstate a check system.....
The webmasters want choice...so give them choice.

Its is a good idea so long as if you also run a programme the webmaster gets paid for sales made with any of the options you offer. More and more I am seeing people with a CCBill affiliate sysytem who then bolt on extra billing options which can not be tracked - makes me wanna cry sometimes |

We're not talking about a declined card here, are we? Cause ccbill has the ability to send the surfer anywhere you want them to go....don't they?

Of course as they use CCBill affiliate scheme if a user joins with another payment option outside the CCBill affiliate system the WM does not get paid. |

So, then, I wonder why the program owner wouldn't put the affiliate ccbill join page in its own directory, so the traffic sent by the affiliate would only have that option..and the surfer then signs up with ccbill or whomever and the affiliates get credit and everyone is happy......then, with their own internal traffic, they can have a join page that offers as many options as they want...that would work, wouldn't it?

yes that would be perfect - its not always the case, hence check the sales process of all your wouldbe partners, another good way is to host your own tours and link direct to the join.

talk about a thread from the past.
Hotmovies still takes epassporte I've used my epassporte card to make purchases at Lowes, On-Line and fill my gas tank. I set up a few of my affiliate accounts to pay directly into epassporte. It's nice to have my gas and miscelaneous purchases not come from my bank accounts. |

As far as I'm informed Epass is no longer owned by Epoch, but now work with 365billing.com, who also payout to epassporte - not sure if thats only to masteraccount owners (sponsors) or affiliates too, as we use them in NATS and do our Epassporte payouts ourself - as most sponsors that payout to Epass.
