A good first Saturday of the last month of 2013

Since I didn't have to play soccer today I have the entire day "off" which means as much as entertaining the kids while they're awake. I tried to start a new game on the PS3 (Assasins Creed III since I finished Far Cry 3 yesterday which was a really good game) but that didn't last long because some guy called to come check out a demolition site.

Back at home now obviously and it's time to make dinner. Croque Monsieur is on the menu.

Good morning world

It's been a hot and sticky time here on BPK. The a/c unit that cools most of the house stopped blowing cold air. Replacement unit won't be here for a few more days so it's up early to enjoy the pre-dawn cooler time, then ceiling fans plus a fan on a stand that blows warm air at me from about 3 feet (1 meter) away. Any breeze will do for now.

@Fonz - I could offer you Captain (Cap'n) Crunch cereal to go with your Mister Crunch sandwich.

Mostly just normal online days this weekend. Need to make time to install new bulbs in the jeep's headlights. Also need to find a guide to aligning jeep headlights. Should be fun.

Been up since before sunrise doing a tri-fold brochure for a spa. Not being someone that enjoys going to a spa I'm amazed at the services. I do my own nails and hair dye and don't have any unwanted hair and just don't get why someone would pay hundreds of dollars to have hot rocks put on their back.

Just got back from a short bike. Leg has gotten much better. Hopefully it will continue improving.

Going to go dumpster diving at the house next door that is being totally remodeled and get some 50+ year old wood planks to use as a new roof for our macaw inclosure in a bit.

And here is a real time saver for the holidays. It's a compete Xmas dinner in a self heating can.

Hehehe... AC.... it's a balmy -7C here today (19 F to you guys in the states). We may get some more snow today. Up in the north west corner of Finland, they set a record of -37C (about -35F - insanely cold) We won't get that cold here. In fact, we don't get too much colder. People here don't really know what AC is.

Just doing some dusting and cleaning on sites.. adding a few things here and there. It's a more normal day, and our power should be stable. Hopefully.
