Didn't see one yet, so thought I'd jump in and start the good morning thread for a change

Lots of work to get done today...may even have to mow the lawn a bit later. It slows down in the winter, but it never stops growing.

I have to tend to one of my other businesses today so off to do a whole lot of driving.

Picking up the Asian Pagan for company on the ride and to keep the men in my business dealings a bit distracted while negotiating.

Espresso has been drank and I'm late.

Today is lawn day here too, but I hired three guys named Juan with the same SSN. They do a superb job for $25/wk. Hope they get here early today, looks like we may get a little rain.

My project du jour is setting up some shelving so I can get some of the clutter off of the floor.

Instead of starting a new thread (I'm far too lazy), what's everyone doing for their New Years celebration? The wife and I are heading to the tropical isle of Connecticut, which is neither an island nor tropical, but out of the few friends who invited us, those were the funnest to hang out with. Should be a smashing good time.

Today is one of the two days I got to spend at the office this week. Other than that there's not much special going on.

UW, you can fly over to Europe and join our New Years celebration. What started out as a little thing with 8 people or so has grown to one where at least 20 people will join our New Year's dinner at my parent's restaurant. Afterwards we'll head over to a bar that's opened specially for us. So one or two people more isn't gonna make a difference

Another day in the frozen paradise called "canada". Weather people have hinted that it might actually go above freezing. Still, there is snow in my walkway that needs to be shoveled once I figure out where I left my shovelling motivation. I think it is in my other jacket.

Other than that, today is an accounting day, with year end rapidly approaching and all. I have today and tomorrow to finsih up any financial moves I need to make before year end strikes. So off I go, hard at it to make sure it all comes together well.

Coffee and a poppy seed bagel are being served momentarily.

i spent the whole day inside yesterday with the exception of taking my son to dinner at a great place on one of the man made lakes here. All these big ass houses had beautiful lights so we had dinner and drank in the ambiance and reminded myself why i don't live in one of them.

SOOOO today i need to run to the palms/rio/gold coast and get the picks/stats posted right away.

otherwise its more CES prep, website prep, trying to make sure my notes for CES don't end up in my notes for Internext.

I found 400 sites that are about the "dontbuybestbuy" etc.. 275 for circuit city, 302 for CompUSA and 220 for Fryes. Statistically most of them address the lack of competence on the part of the front line employees which according to BB they have Locked down in their extrensive training program.
