So a friend of mine stops over today...
One of my boating buddies, one with a really fast power boat, stops over today to do a bowl with me.
(I'll blame today's typos on him) He is a retired commercial jet pilot living on a very comfortable retirement nest egg. He sees my monitor's screen full of porn and asked me about it so I try to explain that I do promo pieces hoping to make sales, kind of like movie trailers. Told me he doesn't understand why anyone would pay for porn when Xhamster has it all for free.  |

I compare free porn to free water. Water out of your tap is so cheap that it's basically free but people still buy bottled water. But when money is shit, like it is these days, people will forgo the bottled water and go for the free tap water.
On a personal note we still do get bottled water delivered, water here is really nasty, but have cut way back. I used to always order ice tea or bottled water when eating out now we just get a free glass of water. Friends that own restaurants are seeing this a lot including getting stuffed on free bread and more sharing of meals and forgoing desserts. Just like buying designer clothes for no reason other than it has a label people will pay for porn memberships when money is good. But right now everyone is hurting so free water and free porn is good enough. |

Related, I just came to think of a friend of mine.
He is a very good amateur-musician, I used to have an income from it. The last ten years (or even more) he haven't bought a single album, only downloading pirated mp3's. We've had countless arguments over this. Then his son got success and he started to complain his son lost income from pirate downloads. Go figure. Jolly |

The internet is so rich, made so many people rich. But the internet is the devil LOL, seriously with pirated music and pirated porn.... it's sucks ass.
People still pay for porn thankfully. They want HD, they want their favorite pornstars daily. They want HD photo sets and full zips they can download instantly. Tubes suck. Pirate sites suck. Torrents suck. But at least some still pay out there. |

People do still pay when they can't find what they want. It's why For The Girls is still going
 The mainstream industry has jumped on the "female friendly" bandwagon but their version of it essentially good looking models and DSLR cameras. But the focus is still on the skinny girl, the guy still comes on her face... So FTG still makes sales.
