I've been swamped lately and haven't been by as often, at least not in posting mode. I'm getting close to caught up from the storms and should have more time to visit, and post more, again soon. (Yeah, the joy, I know.)

I slept like a baby. OK, more like a baby who had a 5 year old boy and two large dogs crawl into his crib during the night. Slept well either way. I could have mortars falling around me, but as long as it's a rainy night, I can sleep.

I've got some running around to do today. Need to order a cake for my son's b-day tomorrow and need to find someone to watch him while I go and buy his gifts. The wife is coming home from LV tonight, so I should also to scurry around and clean this house. It appears that I am an even greater slob when she's not around. Weird.

Yay me!

Its cold and rainy here today so forget about working outside. Bought some wood so I will get a nice fire going soon and make the best of this day.

Good morning all! Its Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so I am visiting the relatives tonight, tomorrow and Monday for dinner. Turkey is low fat but the whip cream on the pumpkin pie isn't -- sigh. Happy 'clean out your furnace room' Saturday everyone.
