Enjoying my coffee while working away doing some uploading and again adding more scenes to the CMS/site. That's the agenda for today for the most part and likely gonna have an afternoon beer with friends once they get off work at 4ish. Have a good day

Trying to copy stiff off of Foxy's big pile of old drives onto her new 6TB RAID. It's really slow going. Switched to using Rsync so that I can resume copies as the old drives keep on going offline.

Other than that it's a work and laundry day. I'll probably go over to the gas station and stock up on at least a few days of generator fuel seeing as its looking like we are going to get hit by at least a Tropical Storm this weekend.

Picked up a London evening paper on the way back from walking the dogs. An inside headline read "Mysterious Light Seen Over London". Apparently it was something called the Sun, and it has been here before, but no one alive is old enough to remember the last sighting!

Bumped into someone who used to live in the building. He is unemployed, so the state pays his rent and gives him the equivalent of about $80 a week to live on. He told me the amount, then said indignantly "But I'm an alcoholic.... How am I supposed to survive on that?"

Just so fucking depressed. Electricity is short, so we have a daily schedule of being cut off 5 hours a day. Fine - we can work around it. The main manna here aka President has decided he needs so much lolly for his trips abroad, sniffing cunts and playing with tits, that the mines must fund him. The mines get full capacity for their operations, and the farmers (like us) who feed the bastards can do without. We currently have no power for a good 12 hours, switched on or off as they feel like.
And a webmaster like me is not even recognised. It is 5.45 in the evening and I am going to bed with my dogs.

Absolutely beautiful, tried to save it but couldn't. I have Rufus Pip pics n my desktop - gives me so much joy. I have a love of extremely large dogs, or extremely small. My Jack Russel sleeps under my duvet, on the electric blanket. My Massive Boerboel - similar to a mastiff but larger sleeps on top of the duvet, with the electric blanket warming her.
