So, I Met Paul Cambria Yesterday.....

Anyway, he's from Buffalo & everyone around here knows he's a big time lawyer, always on the local news explaining legal stuff. Not too many know his name like we in the biz do. This will seem random now, but I have this t-shirt on: He's eating at the same restaurant we were at with his kids. So I wait until he get up & I nervously go over to introduce myself & just say thanks. As I'm walking over, I'm rehearing in my head what I'm going to say. So I approach him... Me: Mr Cambria? Him: Words hurt, huh? Me: Umm yeah. My name is Mark Jenkins & I've been an adult webmaster for almost 20 years. Him: OHHHH! (like he was surprised) Me: I just wanted to thank you blah blah blah He says thanks, we shake hands, away I go. Now, it didn't dawn on me that he: 1 - Read the big words on the shirt 2 - Probably didn't see the small words underneath. So now Paul Cambria thinks he met a 20 year industry vet that thinks words hurt  |
