I know Ultimate Warrior said before "Keep it Simple Sucker" is actually a valid point for most LL's to establish that mind-set. However, those who want to start a LL should also keep in mind the surfing habits of a Porn Surfer. There are many variables to think about when planning one. I sometimes like to say "dare to be different" but still use the basics. There is nothing wrong with being creative and design it as an encased structured Link list without borderless text all over the page, while keeping a simple clean user interface for the surfer in mind. Penisbot is a good LL...

Huh, it is the bigger thread i've read in my whole life :D

I like free sites. I'll try it in that way, NetGoonie, and i see what happens, i'm/ve thinking/working on it for some time... Gonna read more theads and learn a bit more today. This is a good board for begginers, your posts are really helping me guys |thumb

Never have I read such an informative thread that turned so sour. I did the right thing by starting at page one and I was taking so much in then boom. I was going to make a comment in his defence but then wondered if he should know better. I used to think that a link list listed everything, then one day a webmaster kindly explained the differences to me.

Can I ask you a couple of questions Greenguy on my husbands behalf...
1) Could a newbie link list run on shared hosting or a $20 a month hosting account or is dedicated the only way to go with the software required?
2) With a basic to medium understanding of HTML do you create normal html pages and insert code where you want the links to appear (dependant on software chosen to check links).

Thanks in advance
Tina

SaucyPanties:
1 - There are many Link Lists on non-dedicated servers. Hell, there's a lot of domains on the server that has link-o-rama.com - including a couple other Link Lists.
2 - In a nutshell, yes.
