Morning cartoons had a change because the grandson and I binged all of Alien TV a couple of times when he was visiting. This stupid show makes me |lol| ziggah ziggah

Now watching the anime Dota: Dragon's Blood which is supposedly based off a video game. I'm finding this to be quite good.

Lunchtime viewing has now been The Irregulars which I'm finding to be quite good as well.

JustRobert 2021-04-03 12:33 PM

Finished Dota: Dragons Blood and it was good. Not sure what's next for morning cartoon watching but I have a few in the queue.

Finished The Irregulars and that was good as well.

We watched Bad Trip last night which I actually made my wife watch (did not think she would like it) because I wanted to watch it. I thought it funny and I |lol| a bunch of times BUT my wife nearly died from laughter. Guess she needed a good laugh |thumb

JustRobert 2021-04-10 10:54 AM

Finished Kid Cosmic for my morning cartoons which I really enjoyed and will probably watch again today with my grandson.

jollyhumper 2021-04-11 02:20 PM

I've seen the third season of Formula1: Drive to Survive.
It's as good as the first two, IMO.
Maybe I'm bias'ed, I'm a huge fan of F1.

I actually thinks it was their best season though all of them are great!

We watched Thunder Force last night and found it predictable yet still funny :D

Finished S1 of this yesterday & yes, it's a great fucking show |thumb

JustRobert 2021-04-15 10:37 AM

Started watching the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for my morning cartoon watching and I've like it enough I've watched a couple of episodes at lunch as well.

I finished watching S3 of Drive to Survive last night. Now I'll have to go back and watch the first 2 seasons. It's so well shot.

JustRobert 2021-04-21 10:16 AM

Watched the movie Mystery Men from 1999 because netflix said it is removing this end of the month. It is stupid BUT if you embrace the stupid it was actually funny. I had seen this years ago with the kids when they loved stupid Stiller flicks so that brought back nice memories too.

Plus the cast is huge: Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria, William H. Macy, Greg Kinnear, Janeane Garofalo, Paul Reubens, Kel Mitchell, Wes Studi, Geoffrey Rush, Lena Olin, Eddie Izzard, Claire Forlani, and Tom Waits.

I remember re-watching that a couple years ago & thinking "Holy fuck there's a lot of big names in this movie" I may have to refresh my memory on it again |shake|

JustRobert 2021-04-23 10:30 AM

I finished Demon Slayer, pretty good, as I watched it more than just during my breakfast time. Not sure what to start on next as the queue is quite full cartoons/anime :)

Greenguy 2021-04-23 12:12 PM

I watched The Last Blockbuster on Prime yesterday & it was ok. I watched it for free, but today I see it costs $3.99 |huh| Not exactly worth paying for|lol|

JustRobert 2021-04-24 10:05 AM

We watched Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon which is a stop motion animated film by Aardman. Think Chicken Run or Wallace and Gromit. It made us |lol| a number of times :D

Also watched the History Of Swear Words which was pretty good.

Greenguy 2021-04-29 06:34 AM

I watched Mank on Netflix and as long as you've seen Citizen Kane, it's a great movie |thumb |thumb

JustRobert 2021-05-01 04:36 PM

We watched the animated movie The Mitchells Vs The Machines which made us both |lol|

Of course I'm still a child sooo :D

I saw that browsing Netflix earlier - it's now officially on the list |thumb

JustRobert 2021-05-04 10:14 AM

We watched Your Highness last night which made us both laugh because it was childish and we expected that.

I can understand that.

I've watched a few more cartoon/anime shows that I won't bore you all with but it's what my grandson and I text each other about :D

I do usually LOVE these type of movies & Danny McBride is fucking hysterical, but other than the dog/pig stuff, which I did HOWL at|lol| the rest of the movie was just meh :(

I can understand that, I let stupid scenarios make me laugh. Like when the father was excited and yelled She listened to me or something like that, this made me |lol| because of my troublesome daughter and I could totally relate.

We got caught up on S2 yesterday (still 4 episodes yet to air) & I do really fucking LOVE this show |thumb |thumb

JustRobert 2021-05-11 10:25 AM

I got to see most (90%) of the 3 seasons of Ozark while my wife was watching it over the past couple of weeks. Really good and kinda sorry I let it sit in my queue.

We also watched the movie Concrete Cowboy which was pretty good.

I'm just pissed that they were going to release S4 in March, then bumped it to who knows when a week before |angry|

Greenguy 2021-05-12 06:02 PM

I just watched The Devil All The Time on Netflix with Tom Holland & Sebastian Stan. It was long and you kinda see it all coming, but it was decent enough |thumb

Greenguy 2021-05-25 07:04 AM

Watched Nomadland on Hulu |zzzzzzzzz

The started watching Halston on Netflix |thumb

JustRobert 2021-05-25 09:52 AM

We watched Army of the Dead and it was a predictable, semi funny zombie flick that was enjoyable enough.

I also finished all 4 seasons of the anime Castlevania which I liked. It is based off a video game that my daughter played way back on PS1 I believe.

Watched a couple of shorts from the new season of Love, Death + Robots that I've enjoyed.

I liked a couple from S1 so I watched all of S2 yesterday & they were just meh. I kinda liked was the Christmas one.

I also watched Framing John DeLorean and that was damn interesting |thumb

Me Too :D

JustRobert 2021-05-29 02:34 PM

Watched the new (2nd) season of Ragnarok which I thought was pretty good over all.

I think a couple other people around here watched season 1.

Greenguy 2021-05-29 03:16 PM

Just watched Army Of The Dead on Netflix & it was decent enough for a Netflix movie, even if it's yet another zombie movie 🧟🧟🧟🧟🧟

Greenguy 2021-06-03 06:01 AM

My step-daughter shared her Apple TV account with us (legally, too lol) so I finally got to watch Beastie Boys Story and it was GREAT! It reminded me just how fucking great their 1st 4 albums are |thumb |thumb

Greenguy 2021-06-04 09:23 AM

I started watching 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything on Apple TV yesterday. Only watched the 1st episode & so far it's really good. Lots of BTS/home movie type stuff of John Lennon, George Harrison & Marvin Gaye. My only concern is that I've yet to see Led Zeppelin mentioned ANYWHERE! Led Zeppelin IV came out in 1971 so they better fucking cover it, otherwise someone is getting a strongly worded letter |angry|

JustRobert 2021-06-04 10:09 AM

We finished the 6 episodes of Falcon and the Winter Soldier on D+ and it started off kinda slow but did pick up and enjoyed it overall.

ArtWilliams 2021-06-07 11:08 AM

I never could watch Breaking Bad. I knew the show was good but could never get past his job manufacturing meth. All I could think of was the misery caused by it.

That said, the spin off Better Call Saul has got me hooked! On the show, not meth. I'm sure all of you have seen it but thought I would write it done here anyhow.

Greenguy 2021-06-15 02:17 AM

Watched Friends: The Reunion on HBO Max and that was ok - I mean, I wasn't huge fan of the show, but The Bitch was & she seemed to enjoy it.

Also watched News of the World on PPV/Prime with Tom Hanks. It was decent, but I'd wait for it to be free on some streaming service.

Evil Chris 2021-06-15 10:07 AM

I started watching ALONE Season 8. This time it's taking place at Chilko Lake, BC. Lot's of grizzly bear in that area. So far it's good. Previous seasons have been excellent.

Greenguy 2021-06-18 09:34 AM

Watched The Woman In The Window on Netflix & there were a lot of stars in the movie, including an unrecognizable Jennifer Jason Leigh. It was decent enough |thumb

I also finished watching Rock 'N' Roll Inventions on Paramount+ which was interesting. There's a fucking SHITLOAD of Smithsonian Channel documentaries in there.

This Is a Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist on Netflix was good, but I think they could've fit it into 2 or 3 episodes instead of 4 (aka it was a bit long)

Greenguy 2021-06-22 05:50 AM

Watched CREEM: America's Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine on Amazon Prime yesterday & it was decent, but I wouldn't recommend paying for it (like I did)

ArtWilliams 2021-06-22 09:47 AM

Watch the Friends Reunion last night. It was fun. Courtney Cox has had way too much botox. Lisa Kudrow looked very GILFy.
