I agree that god and the gop are way to close, but what choice do we have? Kerry, sorry, he just doesn't impress me as someone I want for a president, I'd rather have Perot try again!

It was good to see this obvious parody has produced some great discussion :)

Who knows maybe it will be right again :(

Hey - this might be a good thing - if we all tell our Republican Cocksucker friends that they don't need to vote & then show them that page, maybe they will sit home & hump their cousins on Election Day
Wow, that's pretty harsh. I've never sucked a cock in my life, and while I might hump your cousin, I'll leave it up to you to hump mine.

The only thing is is the neo conservative group has taken so much power that even by loving our country with "grown up" love there doesn't seem to be a lot we can do for it.
Taken so much power? How exactly. At gunpoint? Seems to me they were given that power by voters that agree them. And "grown up love". Give me a break. Al Franken is a retard.

I would rather vote for my dog to be president than Bush. It doesn't matter who runs as long as Bush looses. Could Kerry do any worse for the country in the next 4 years? I don't see how that could be possible.

America can be the greatest country in the world again but not when we're being lead by religious fanatics or people that see lives as expendable for purposes of winning elections.

Don't kid yourself. Our country and our way of life is under attack from our own leaders. We can be the greatest country in the world again or we can keep the fanatics in office.

WELL SAID! Now if I could only get my family to stop kidding themselves... it's fun (sarcasm) being the only non-Bush fanatic @ the dinner table on Sunday evenings... mom, dad, sis, b-i-l, hubby... *sigh* They all come with their Kerry jokes and dem-slams... they just won't SEE the other side of anything. It's SO frustrating!!! |sad|

Liberals love America like grown-ups. To a four-year old, everything Mommy does is wonderful and anyone who criticizes Mommy is bad. Grown-up love means actually understanding what you love, taking the good with the bad, and helping your loved one grow. Love takes attention nd work and is the best thing in the world. "
I really like how he put that. The only thing is is the neo conservative group has taken so much power that even by loving our country with "grown up" love there doesn't seem to be a lot we can do for it. It's frustrating that in the "land of the free" we have to stand by every day as we lose more and more freedom. It is really scary what's happening, but what's worse is that no one seems able to stop it. Of course we are better off than other people but we are close to losing all of that. And I don't think that it's an exaggeration. I am only 24 and just in my lifetime so many things have happened in this country that are truly troubling. I am an educated voter but what good does it do me?
The America now is not the America that should be.
Just my opinion. :)

here here!!!!
Listen if ya want to be scared to death, and really fear for the freedoms that The US is so famous for, take a read through the Patriot Act, and stare in disbelief all the "Rights" that the repubs are stealing quietly from under us. Read it go ahead
No right to unreasonable search and siezure(sp)
no right to privacy
no court orders nessesary to eavesdrop on everything from your phone calls, to e mails to bugs in your home
they no longer have to stand before a magistrate and give good reason........just say its a terrorist investigation and you bagged.
This new director of intelligence they are setting up, WITH budgetary control.......... ok, i'm an alarmist but I think we are creating a position in our country that will have by fat more power then any sitting US President has ever held (lets thank the good people in the gustapo and KGB for the fine example they set for us to follow)
I LOVE this country, I served proudly as a US Marine, but what is going on now, and your average Americans blindness to it just has me scared to shit.

I don't know how many of you guys are parents, but I am and another 4 years of that asshole in the White House scares the crap out of me. Iraq is not a new Vietnam...at least we initially had a good reason to be there. This is pure insanity. Our soldiers, men and women, are dying for nothing! We're helping AlQeda (why is there in "U" after the "Q"?) recruit disgruntled, mis-informed kids and the people of the country see us as invanders. They want to be led by religious zealots and no matter what we do, that's how it is. So let's just get Bush out, support Kerry till he fucks up and let Guliani and Hillary battle it out in 08..now that's a battle to watch!!|knockout|

Absolutly right - Watch Eisenhower's farewell address, broadcast in 1961 - he was troubled too!

It amazes me that we have men and women DYING FOR NOTHING in Iraq and people here stillseem to think the nutjob in the White House can be good for this country. I think Kerry's an idiot and running the worst campaign ever, but he has my vote. unless you're one of the 1% richest in America, Bush has fucked you over. And if you vote for anyone other than Bush or Kerry, man you don't get much dumber...that's a wasted vote. Reality is what it is, we each HAVE T+O MAKE A VOTE THAT COUNTS!!

Just to give another perspective.

I was born in a third world country. With a Socialist government. No pornography, no TV, no drugs. We were told what to read and what not to. Our airports were manned with the military carrying machine guns. The police could knock on your door at any time with no reasons, no warrants. And there was a phone number to call for "suspicious" activity. In fact when we emigrated to the US, we had to leave all our money behind.

My dad spent his whole younger life getting us here. He believed in the US. The ability for freedom etc, etc. (I won't go on and on.) The funny thing is for the 10 years I have been living here I have experienced all that. It still doesn't get old for me to walk to a newstand and see a porn mag right next to Vogue. |thumb

My point is, that since that hypocritical, dumb-as-rocks, moron with his posse of bible thumpers have taken office, I feel like I am back where I was born.

Hell, Ashcroft thinks he talks to God directly. Bush can't form a solid sentence and the rest of 'em are like a tumbling routine at the circus.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox. I just can't take another 4 years of these guys...

By the way check out this website, it is hilarious. http://www.whitehouse.org/
