Had a few of those problems myself. My ISP has some pretty strict shared spam filters at ORDB.net. Real pain when you don't get that email with a download link for the content/software that you just bought.

And since I am always running around, I use mail2web to access my email 99% of the time. They have pretty good spam/virus filters.

Got it!! and it works so much better than Spam monitor but i'm still getting about 200 per day.

anyone wanna buy some pills or software?? i got an inside hook up.

only problem i've ever had with mailwasher was occasionally if I shut down while it was running it would loose all it's blacklist and friendlists, I've been using it since about April 2002 and it's been fantastic. A specially wonderful find, I am a bit biast having never tried any other software.

Call me oldfashioned, i'm doing ok with Thunderbird and manual removal, the cussing keeps me on edge for the rest of the work day.
As for encoding your addy on your web-pages i found this free tool, that encodes it to js http://automaticlabs.com/products/enkoder

pretty handy
