I've run ad aware and AVG anti-virus...both came up clean - searched the web and found nothin about it too - might be something on your end...

Happens with persiankitty.com as well...

They both work fine for me.

Yeah you just need to run something like Spybot Search and Destroy |raygun|

EclectiXXX 2003-10-07 11:48 PM

I Think I'm just going to delete my whole fucking AVS category....

Linkster 2003-10-08 05:19 AM

EclectiXXX..thats what I did until all of this gets sorted out...Im getting tired of chasing stuff only to have to do it again the following week

NotThatKevin 2003-10-08 08:33 AM

All I did was convert my sites to tour pages for my pay sites :)

Akira Web 2003-10-08 08:56 AM

Looks like I'm through with CA!

jennym 2003-10-08 09:08 AM

That sucks! I will be removing all AVS sites with today's update as well.

EclectiXXX 2003-10-08 09:43 AM

As soon as I finish backing up that domain the AVS Category gets deleted...

Now.. what to do withmy own 650 Cyberage sites.... I think I need that server wide search and replace utility, time to install a frame buster script...

KCat 2003-10-08 12:11 PM

I don't mind making changes if that's what they need to do to be compliant with Visa. But there needs to be an announcement & they need to give webmasters time to do it.

Not, "change your scripts this week & everything is OK". Then a few weeks later..."oh yeah, can you go back & also change .htaccess & your sponsor links? Right NOW because nothing works until you've changed it. Thanks!"

Seems it gets worse...

The link that cyberage provide to your members area on their new FPA can be copied and pasted into any browser window thereby bypassing your htaccess... |waves|

urb 2003-10-08 02:15 PM

Seems to me like Cyberage are not the sharpest tool in the box. |skull|

One more nail in their coffin…

|angry|

I nailed that coffin real good and burried it already a year ago. What amazes me is that they didn't see all this crap all the rest of webmasters saw the same day they introduced their new idiocy. It looks like they have NO idea about what they are doing.

McSpike 2003-10-08 03:54 PM

I like to see when idiots shoot themselves in the foot, tho :)

McSpike 2003-10-08 03:57 PM

these ones are for you CA! |tomato| |tomato| |tomato| anyone have any more tomatos? bring em on...

Javascript errors

Is it just me or have any of you guys found that the new Cyberage pages don't actually let you get to the members area.

At least 6 of my pages get to the new page that has the site name as a text link in the members area but fails to display the link, therefore no one can actually get to my members area.

Any one else suffering with this?

JanTM 2003-10-09 04:48 PM

What the fuck is this |pissed|
The only good thing is I never got around to changing the login script on my AVS sites. But it looks like I'll change the script over to some completely different system... fucking CA |pissed|

dareutwo 2003-10-09 09:22 PM

"Goodnight sweet heart well it's time to go" |goodnight

All CA sites are now gone from Mark's -
Will be dropping the AVS page from Mark's later this month.
Hard as hell to review them anyway, and a bitch to recheck a week or so later.

Bye Bye AVS

fetish1 2003-10-09 10:41 PM

|bananna| Boy am I glad I went on a two week AVS building spree! NOT!!!!!
Ok anyone wanna toss out ideas on who MAY survive the VISA torture/shakedown as far as avs sponsors are concerned, or is it safer yet to just break down the avs sites before I even submit them any place and toss out free sites instead??

stuveltje 2003-10-10 12:18 PM

And me always nagging because cyberage wont accept dutch people!!! I believe i am glad now they rejected me because i am dutch|bananna| Sorry for the rest i know how it is to change things, i did already 5 times

stuveltje 2003-10-10 12:22 PM

ohhh now i am thinking off, i have all free sites, would it be wise to make avs sites?
