Is it just me or is there something just so very wrong with xmas lights on a palm tree?
lmao, looking at the real trees down here in the heat....they are already dry brown firetraps, and they are still in the sales lots.

One thing that reminds me of home is when I go out in the early morning some days people are bundled up in ski parkas...thats on the frigid 60 degree mornings of course....roflmao

I was just telling Porn Retreat it just doesn't seem Christmasy to have to have the A/c going in the truck just to drive around and look at everyone's decorations. Florida and Christmas just don't quite seem to mix.

I'm used to driving up to the mountains and shaking the snow off a handpicked, live tree, then handsawing for eternity just to get the perfect tree. Ok, why do I miss that? burrrrrr

I use to go crazy, I was Chevy Chases twin from Christmas Vacation, now in my old age Ive toned it down, but I still have lights around the outside of the house (all white), and I had to buy the blow up Frosty the Snowman (I have a 3 year old and Alexa loves Frosty) she makes me go outside every night to look at it, and she goes up to him and gives him a hug, it's so cute :)

On the inside we have lights on the railing to go upstairs, the christmas tree, and lights with green garland and red bows around all the doorways, and ofcourse the fireplace has stockings and lights around it too. I have photos somehwre...

I can't be bothered pulling everything out of my storage closet to get to my xmas decorations this year. I'd only have 'em up for 3 weeks & then have to put them away again at this point, so...bah humbug.

I did buy some pretty star lights to hang inside this year. They give off a really romantic, soft glow so I think I might keep them up all year round, just move 'em to the bedroom. ;)
