Osris, what is the URL to Gothic Links?

So long as you are linking to a hub type site that is only promoting your pay sites, you will be okay. Take a look of some of Outback Cash's HFS sites for a good example.

On the other hand, if you link to something like http://www.gothiclinks.com then you got a problem. In this thread - http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=12047 - DangerDave said.

Another thing to consider in using an outside link. Even though the LL has a protential to earn money from listing your HFS, you will want to comply with the LL's rules. In so doing keep in mind that your link to a Gothic Links list will use up one of your three outgoing links.

by the way, hunkmoney does offer free hosted sites - it is not listed in GG's database properly :(

Sweet, I've only known of sponsor hosted TGPs. Didn't know there were any Sponsor Hosted Links Lists. Now I'm going to look like a copy cat.. ;)


Chop Smith, it wouldn't be on the free hosted sites themselves, those will be recip free. What we're thinking of doing, if my partner and I can come to an agreement on it, is place a small, non-intrusive text link at the bottom of our paysites.. Like how some sponsor have a big mailer box, instead of something like that which takes traffic/sales away from the webmaster it would include their linking code, as Greenguy mentioned in the post: linkslist.com/?2356 That way you'll get credit for everything listed.. :)


I'm not associated with gothiclinks.com, I'll have to read the thread entirely to see what happened with them.

We did and we are now offering hosted freesites as well. Each one has 24 pics over 2 galleries, for both of our sites. You can even choose if you want them to point to Tour 1 or Tour 2 (flows much nicer with a reality feel). We're happy to improve + be progressive in our affiliates needs.

zombiegirl - one thing that I think Link List owners would like to see on each HFS is an actual title for the site - like you did on http://www.dirtysdicksuckers.com/fre...?nats=MTI6Mzoy with "Dirty Dick Sucking Hookers"

It's really just an odd coincidence that today I finally got off of my lazy ass to add some more HFSs to Filthy Earl and hit the no title brick wall. Fetish Hits a has a whole bunch of sites I'd like to add, but there doesn't appear to be a real title for a single one of them. I could create a title for each one, but if the title isn't on the site itself, it defeats the whole point of having a title.

It would be nice to be able to hit a preview link to verify what I'm linking to, but that's a whole other topic. So, I think I added few more Sammy Smack sites and said the hell with it.

We're in the process of creating some free hosted sites for affiliates to use. On the topic of including title tags on the pages, is there a preference for either:

1. An overall title for the site, which appears as the title on each page of the site. Basically same title tag on each page.

--or--

2. Each page of the site has a title tag but each title tag is different depending on the content of the actual page.

I'm trying to find out if there is any advantage to doing it one way over the other before we start producing the free sites.

Free Sites have titles, which is what Link List owners use as the text to link to the sites. When I'm building them, sometimes I carry the site title thru on all the pages & sometimes I don't - but as long as the 1st page has one, most of us will be very happy :)

The fact that you used title 'tag' caught my eye. We're not asking you to use just the title meta tag. We want to see the site's unique title on at least the warning page and the title should never be the same as the paysite it is promoting. ;)

I agree after seeing and reading this thread I was very impressed with the amount of knowledge to be found here at GaJ. I hope to get over here more often and meet new ppl and talk to all of you I've already met :D

Not to get too far off-topic, but you might want to consider that for some niches a true fan won't care that the content has no nudity. I know that when I'm shopping for bondage content I usually don't notice if the model doesn't get nude.
