pretty much always has loaded slow for me, it's that header and nav bar that's doing it.

Always loads slow for me. Especially when I click to make a post and right after I click "submit reply" and go back to the thread. Going from thread topic to actual thread lags also.

Maybe too many SSI includes? PHP processing?

Probably because of the top graphics and the multiple banner rotations...

it's normally slow for me, just now after I hit reply it took 30 secs to load :/

It loads slow for me and scrolls very choppy. When typing text into a new message it takes a while for the letters to show up when I type. I can typically type an entire sentence before the letters show up in the posting box. :(
