Rude? For a cheater, you got off light.

Jim 2005-08-18 03:57 PM

CJ
You don't have to go away. As a matter of fact, you seem to have a lot to learn. Stick around and see how it is done.

Greenguy 2005-08-18 03:59 PM

Maybe we should all start to sugar coat things.

Here ya go Useless |flowers|

Surfn 2005-08-18 04:07 PM

I just read this entire thread and here is what I think: |haha

GunnCat 2005-08-18 05:03 PM

I don't mean to make fun, but CJ is an appropriate name!:D
Seriously though CJ, you can hang out and learn some good things here. I just posted last week about how much I have gained by being here, and that's not just blowing smoke. The crowd can be rough sometimes, but if it was in person you'd likely see it's more ball busting than personal attacks. You know, it's hard to translate those things online sometimes man.
Anyhow, your page looks pretty good. Keep going at it man.

cj 2005-08-18 09:43 PM

Thanks GunnCat and Jim,

Useless and all your rude people can learn something from them...I was just looking for feedback not a bashing...

You people need to learn how to be more human, than fuckin dicks...

People like you make GG and JIM's board look very bad...

cj 2005-08-18 09:47 PM

And im not a Cheater, If i didn't know what i was doing was so wrong, thats why i came here and messaged green guy... So i could get feedback, not a bashing... I wont be posting here any more...

cj 2005-08-18 09:47 PM

Tubey 2005-08-18 10:00 PM

CJ,
Don't run....Learn....They are only trying to learn what you are doing and pointing out what you are doing wrong and how it is wrong.. if they really wanted to slam ya they would do so on the other boards. If they didn't think you didn't have some worth there wouldn't be other webmasters asking you to stay.

ecchi 2005-08-19 03:34 AM

If you are still around here is something else you should look at on your galleries:
When you say "The Provider is Responsible for 2257 Information, not me!" I don't think this is accurate. As the thumbnails appear on your page I think you are legally obliged to have the 2257 info. By putting this disclaimer on your page you are telling everyone that you do not have it, so are inviting the authorities to prosecute you. If I were you I would drop the disclaimer.

furrygirl 2005-08-19 05:12 AM

I have such a hard-on for gracious exits.

Especially when it takes several "fuck all ya'll, I'm never coming back" posts to pull off.

CJ, you have some major maturing to do. Come back when you're man enough to handle criticism.

Greenguy 2005-08-19 09:31 AM

Somebody needs a hug |assfuck|

Useless - did Jim call & wake you up very early? Or did a cat leave you a mushy present on your pillow? :D

SirMoby 2005-08-19 09:49 AM

OK CJ, I won't be rude.

1. Don't hot link other peoples images because if they're paying for the bandwidth and the time create the galleries then you should be showing thier sales pitch. That's how they pay for things.

2. Change the name of the site. CJ stands for "Circle Jerk" and that means people will be worried about exchanging traffic with you.

3. Learn to accept critism. You came here asking for help and everyone is telling you the same thing in one way or another. DON'T HOT LINK!!!

cj 2005-08-19 01:00 PM

ok how about this, i not only took the content, i took all there sponsors and add them also. And is there sponsor banner is 468 x 60 or 468 x 72 then it will add that too... so they get 100% of the links...

example: http://www.cjspornsite.com/gallery.a...20pink%20pussy

Lemmy 2005-08-19 01:06 PM

You're still hotlinking other people's stuff and showing it out of context.

You still don't seem to get it. If the people submitting the sites to you know you're doing this then it's OK otherwise you need to stop doing it.

Hot linking people's content without their explicit consent is theft nor can you change thier site without their permission. There is no way you can justify it. Plain and simple. ---art

Surfn 2005-08-19 01:19 PM

In your most recent post "Original Gallery and 2257 info can be Found Here." is linked to another gallery. WTF? If it's a 2257 link then use it as that, if it's a gallery link then use it as that. You can't jerk people around like that and expect them to join anything!!

cj 2005-08-19 01:26 PM

people know im doing this because its in my terms witch can be found here(on the submit form): http://www.cjspornsite.com/webmasters/submit.asp

And the 2257 link was messed up because i was fixing some bugs... check it out now...

i see people have there opionions, but every one is different, im sure some wont submit, some will... But now im sure im not doing any thing wrong...

Every one is different, thats the answer...

thanks...

Lemmy 2005-08-19 01:33 PM

If you're going to do it your way no matter what, why did you ask for advice in the first place? Let's hope your server can handle the onrush of submitters.

Greenguy 2005-08-19 01:34 PM

WOW!

Let me make this perfectly clear:

YOU CAN NOT LOAD OTHER PEOPLES IMAGES ONTO YOUR HTML PAGES!

YOU CAN NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO PICS ON OTHER PEOPLES DOMAINS!

It's called "hotlinking" and it is theft.

Surfn 2005-08-19 01:37 PM

I give up |monkey

Agent 2005-08-19 02:20 PM

It removes control over my site and presentation which I enjoy having.

People will not see the amount of traffic hitting their gallery pages. They will only see their click throughs in the sponsor aff. area. The URI string may not show accurately in some their stats as the refferer because of your page's (unmasked) dynamic nature. The webmasters will not get SE value which a URI hardlink to their gallery provides. If the sponsor goes under/fucks affiliates over and the webmaster wants to pull links as far as I know they can't unless you do it for them. You'll get hit by autosubmitters eventually. The shitheads who blindly autosubmit will see you hotlinking might fire off some nasty emails your way.

The consistant presentation is a good idea, some people will like that. But when you throw other people's resources into the mix I dont see it flying well.

SirMoby 2005-08-19 04:34 PM

There's something that you just don't seem to understand. People DO NOT WANT HITS as you keep saying. They want PAGE VIEWS of the sales pitch they've created in the form of galleries.

Peoepl will realise that you're hot linking thier images and then block your site. One day you'll have 5,000 images linked and the next they'll all come up 404. Your surfers will hate, the webmasters submitting to you will hate you and you will get very few link exchanges.

Do as you wish but you asked for help. We're all telling you that what you are doing will NOT work. Your site will NOT grow. Surfers will NOT keep returning.

Try it for a year and then come back and tell us if it worked or not. Of course you could always take the advice of people that have been in the business for many years.
