NFL.com fantasy is a good one as well.

looks like I will go 1-6 and to make it worse, 4 of them are complete blow outs, the teams I lost to scored 130+ and I lost by anywhere from 80 to 50 points.

All my "names" are complete shit, and I just happen to have faced all the teams who had players dominate this week.

Worse beating I have ever had.

D Culpepper
J Lewis
M Bulgar
T Green
And others are all benched on my teams and I will even be dropping a few “names” to waivers since I don’t think anyone would want the stiffs.

Greenguy 2005-09-20 08:59 AM

I had another 3-0 week, making me 6-0 for the year (2-0 in each league)

I'm not winning because of the "names" on my team, I'm winning because I'm a winner |thumb

WR Chad Johnson, Cin 21
TE Todd Heap, Bal 5

K David Akers, Phi 4
TOTAL POINTS: 146

QB Peyton Manning, Ind 2
RB Rudi Johnson, Cin 9

I can brag about being 6-0 & MML can brag about beating Linkster & Yell can laugh at how easily he trashed Ramster, but the stats of the week is this tidbit from the Greenguy & Jim 2005 league:
|thumb KV's Alaska Mountaineers 2-0-0 |boobies|
|pokefun| Florida Boilermakers 0-2-0 |blowjob|

|haha

Ramster 2005-09-20 03:35 PM

It's pretty bad when 2 of my team's top 3 scorers were the kicker and tight end. And if Driver didn't get that TD at the end of the GreenBay game they would have been my top 2 scorers for the week. :(

Preacher 2005-09-20 06:14 PM

Wow, I'm 2 & 0 also, whoddathunkit. Anyone wanna trade me a power back to dominate the league and shut Greenguy up? |greenguy|

My veto stamp is all ready and dipped in red ink! |thumb

Greenguy 2005-09-20 06:25 PM

I just sent him a perfect trade, since I have Johnson for when Holmes injures himself :D

Actually you do, I went to grab Willie Parker and you had already taken him! |angry|

I'm in league 62663 (Gabbo 2005), The Left Coast Steelers.
I just beat KatVixen 136 to 43...ouch, that's gotta hurt!

Good to have Steve Smith on your team this weekend |thumb

Bad to be playing LT |tddance|

:D

Toby 2005-09-26 10:47 AM

I waffled all week about playing Culpepper or not, glad I decided late Saturday to give him one more week. Now I just need 5 pts from Tony Gonzalez this evening to get rid of that zero in the win column.

Torn Rose 2005-09-26 11:11 AM

the one team I had Culpepper in I benched him.... huge mistake.

LT is just amazing, does he ever get tired?

He makes the guys on D just look bad.
The Giants got an LT thumping.

Greenguy 2005-09-26 02:52 PM

I lost to a girl - yuck! Collete's up by 1 with 2 guys playing tonight, so unless Larry Johnson throws a pick & Tony Gonzales fumbles, I'm fucked |banghead|

I did beat Torn in one league & I have a chance to beat him in another, so my nubby little fingers are crossed that I'll be 2-1 this week :)

Ramster 2005-09-26 04:52 PM

LT sucked the first 2 games, but had a fantastic game Sunday.

I have him in one pool and traded him to Greenguy in another for Tory Holt and Todd Heap, 2 spots I deperately needed help in. Even with LT I still would have lost that matchup when you switch out Holt for one of the sorry-ass receivers I have.

My teams are getting closer though. :)

Preacher 2005-09-27 11:57 AM

Well this is the week! The last two undefeated teams in Gabbo 2005 are going head to head, and as half of my team is playing Houston, I'm thinking this will be a lock. Your reign of terror ends this week Greenie! :D

Greenguy 2005-09-27 12:01 PM

Preacher - all I know is I'm gonna load up my bench incase we tie |thumb

Torn Rose 2005-09-27 12:14 PM

That’s right pete panic...cry over something that's been posted for over 2 months, and hasn’t happen yet.

Greenguy 2005-09-27 01:28 PM

I just want to make sure that if I tie Yell in week 7 that I'm not penalized for having 4 guys on a bye |thumb

Torn Rose 2005-09-27 01:37 PM

So you would rather be penalized for being the "visiting team"? Yeah, that’s much more fair.

2 or 3 years ago in another league I missed the playoffs to a team with more losses then I had, the reason was I had 2 ties and lost to % points when I beat the team who beat me out of the playoffs 2 of 3 times, so I will never run a league that allows ties if I can avoid it, I would much rather have a loss then a tie any day of the week.

Greenguy 2005-09-27 03:29 PM

I'd rather be 3-1-1 as opposed to 3-2. Think about it - if there is a tie, you're going to reward the team that didn't start the correct players OR you're going to penalize the team that has a couple of guys injured or on bye weeks.

Let me guess....you'd have "won" those 2 weeks you had ties & easily made the playoffs, right? |cry|

Maybe you can set it up so that you get a loss & everyone else gets a tie :D

Torn Rose 2005-09-27 04:27 PM

I have no idea what would have happen had this rule been in effect then, but ties are worse then losses according to ESPN's scoring system, nothing should be worse then a loss, a tie by their scoring system is worse then a loss and it cost me the playoffs. Again, I would much rather lose then have a worthless tie when it could hurt me in the playoff race.

Don't hate the game, hate being too lazy to read posted rules.

Do you stay awake at night wondering what would have happen had you turned left instead of right 2 months ago? Or what will happen in week 7 if you turn right instead of left? Bitch when it happens, you lost by 2 not by a tie, Toni lost by 1 also not by a tie, and had it gone to tiebreaker she would have lost as well, but she isn’t complaining at all.

You lost, deal with it.

As for next year, this may be my last year so I will worry about next year in August 2006
