Didn't you see the film "The Jackal" starring Bruce Willis and Richard Gere?

Opening scene is the FBI raiding a nightclub in Russia to arrest a Russian mobster.

But at the end of the film, the FBI let the IRA terrorist go free?!?!

So you're saying that movie didn't make you feel sympathy for the poor heart-broken IRA bomb maker that used to kill women and children?

Not really UW :) although I do think a United Ireland would be a cool thing.

The FBI guy (Sidney Poitier) told the IRA guy (Richard Gere) that he knew about the airport locker full of money and fake passport that he had the key to.

So, the film closes with the IRA guy wandering off onto what looks like the streets of Chicago, headed for an airport!?!

I guess some of you will say that it was just a fictional story - but if you watched Farenhieght 9/11 you may remember the bit about how the FBI were denied access to question the Bin Laden family by the White House while the whole family were given safe passage out of the United States.

Interviewing a suspect's immediate family is standard police practice, so why were the FBI held back from doing this? Would it have been unreasonable to ask them a couple of questions? Like "When did you last see Osama?"

Something ain't right.

Shhh...... We want people to forget that Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia and start thinking he's from Iraq. How can you support a war in Iraq if you're constently reminded that no one in Iraq or from Iraq was supporting terrorism against us.

Now please be quite. ;)

If you really want the job of running around in latex I'm sure 3X Tom would be happy to take photos of you in the outfit I'd be happy to send you :)
